120

I don't know much about toilets but cheaper than toilet paper during initial covid lockdowns.

I don’t know why, but a black toilet just feels… wrong.

Yay! Never having to clean the toilet ever again!

        it's black, not brown ….

        • +3

They should make toilets in poo brown colour.

          /shower thought

My diet consists solely of Guinness.

A true ozbarginer will buy it then spray paint it white.

      • -5

        Yeah. Good luck with that.

  • It's black. Is there no demand for a black loo?

    • If you're a dungeon master into BDSM , yes, but for everyone else guessing not .

  • Assume this requires something inside the wall for the water/cistern?

    • +1

Yes, I can recall up near $300. The white one was on clearance near me, but total cost was prohibitive.

      • Yes the cistern is very expensive, be great if that was also on sale to compliment. Wonder if there is a less expensive alternate.

      • I always wondered how in wall cisterns go. Do they chase out the entire section and then cover it with plasterboard? Think it would be a lot easier in a timber framed house but a right PITA in brick walls like WA.
Great look but seems highly impractical given that they need washers/wearing parts replacing and whatnot every now and then.

Good deal for a shit deal

There is a reason toilets are white.

Unless you are a failed US president in which case Gold is your colour color

There is a reason toilets are white.

      Go on..

I was hoping I didn't have to detail the reasons.

White bathroom suites are standard as they go with almost all decors. Anything other than white suffers from the vagaries of passing fashions.

    • Sounds like you need to vist a ER, there's blood in your stool if you can see the difference on black

  • Something very similar (or the same) was on clearance for $10 at the front door of the Balcatta (WA) store about a week ago. I didn't need it so didn't look any closer but it was black and same brand. Certainly looks the same. So it could possibility be had for cheaper.

  • That's a good looking throne.
    Man cave dunny sorted.

The Mondella brand is good stuff from my experience.

    • You could always bucket flush to keep the price down.

      • Is this comment directed at me?
        If so. What?

Look, it's cheap. OK, it's a terrible colour for a toilet but it's a decent price for a designer plant pot!

    Innaloo.

  • +1

This is the same deal at the Innaloo WA store. But it's white, not black.

  • +1

Same price in Darwin but for white.
Saw the same white ones at Palmerston store today for $30 though. I did take a picture of the $30 ticket and asked the missus if she was interested. She said No. If anyone wants me to send them the photo of the $30 ticket let me know.

  • wall hungs are a bad idea. we have an expensive villeroy one and it is causing all sorts of grief as it has moved ever so slightly. be warned

    • This is a floor standing model.

Wall hungs are fine if installed properly.
ie. Sturdy in wall frame, not standard wall framing. Plus kick ass bolts, tightened properly.
