Must have tried it on an S20 Ultra

    • i remember my 1st year nursing lecturer. He told us that he found a snow globe inside someones ass.
he took a photo of the xray and you could see the globe inside lol
he goes, "i dont ask why or how, i just do my best to help the patients quality of life"

as my family members in a health proffesion. you dont sign up for the eventual LuLz such as these but as he said to help the patients quality of life.

  • If this has no changes from the normal SPens, you are better off buying a Note 7 SPen for ~$10 for the same functionality

  • Why is this so big?

I just tried my (much smaller) old Note 8 S-Pen on my S21 Ultra and it works perfectly. Im pretty sure you can get them off ali-express for cents

      Why is this so big?

      not what she said.

i believe the bigger size is that its more comfortable to write with.

    • $8 for a generic S Pen. Got one off eBay and works perfectly

  • Is it worth getting a pen for the S21 Ultra? It seems too small for note taking

    • +1

Spen functions are fantastic. Writing is nice, hover states where apps use them are nice, drawing captions or doodles are great… it's worth it if you think you'd use it.

I bought a note 10+ to finally scratch the itch of having an s-pen. Forgot about most of its features, except for scribbling on screenshots then sending on. Which can be done by using fingers as well.

For 'actual' note taking, a phone screen is definitely too small imo. You'd need an ipad or surface pro and pen to do note taking effectively.

I almost always use it as a remote shutter button for selfies instead of having to try to press the button the screen.

Also use it to snip a screenshot especially given the tricky button positions on the S21 Ultra.

Good for selecting tricky text or resizing the handles around a selection, and a little known feature is if you hold down the button and drag select text you can select text in apps where normal copy/paste doesnt work - super helpful.

Very occasionally I use to snip a bit of a picture and then it offers built in text extraction which is useful sometimes

I would struggle without one now, but at the same time not sure I'd pay $30

      • Snipping and text extraction can also be done without the pen from the Edge Panel - Smart select. On Note 10 anyway.

      • How do you set that up?

  • i highly recommend the black shark powerbank. specially at this price.

  • Always use my S-Pen for smart select either to copy and paste "text" from a webpage, picture etc,.. were one can't do the normal way by holding on text too highlight, well certainly can't copy text from a picture so why smart select with S-Pen is very handy 😁 Main reason why I stick too the Samsung Note Series 👍

  • Looking for a cheap replacement pen for HP x360 that is compatible with surface pens but surface pens are they are ridiculous expensive. Anyone know if these are compatible with surface laptops or suggest a cheaper alternative than buying from MS.
