JB Hi-Fi Online Gift Card Limit Removed

I have seen many replies recently in regards to online purchases for JB that there is a limit to the amount of gift cards one can use in a singular transaction.
While this used to be 5, it is no longer the case.

I recently purchased online with an amount that would exceed the 5 card limit of $2500 (5 x $500 e-gift cards). Before I purchased them all I looked over their website for the limit, it is not found. The New Zealand JB site says it has a limit of 5, but nothing for Aus. So I called their online help, and they said there is no longer any limit, it was removed some time ago.

I put this to the test, and as you can see in the screen shot, 10 gift cards were successfully used online to complete the transaction - https://i.imgur.com/CC5UtBi.png

    But can you price match over email/phone and use all the gift cards via the custom link they send you? They still don't allow BNPL options there

      Yes. I got them to price match without being in store due to lock downs. Payment link was sent via SMS.
      Obviously your results may vary, but that is no different to in store.

        If you call and price match and pay, does it have to be delivery or is pickup in store possible?

            @snuke: I priced match, I used the gift card, it doesn't work. I used the same gift card on non price matched item it worked.

              @htc: I did price match and it worked, sometimes there is a "space" error, that is when you copy/paste the card number it may include a space at the end which makes the card invalid. I talked with the Jb staff and they pointed this bug and once I got rid of the space at the end, it just worked fine. Hope it helps.

    So technically now I could ask them to price match the good guys for the c1 77 quote I got then pay for it online via gift cards? The price would be over 5000. Still no solution to being able to purchase unlimited amount of jb gift cards though

    I too have used up to 9 cards recently but has anyone gone beyond 20 cards?

    Now there is 10% sale on Him/Her cards but they are limited to just 100 each.

      Used 13 gift cards so I guess there no longer any limit to it.

    Just checking if there is a limit to use no.of J.B HIFI gift cards in ŚÏŅĠĻË transaction online?

    Thinking to buy a Mac Air and have stacks of gift cards around $1500 worth all $50 and $100. Any issue using those online all in ŚÏŅĠĻË transaction?

    I was chatting with JB staff online, and was told I can use up to 10 gift cards online.
