Was considering junking my old Fuji c810 for this but maybe I will wait until it dies. Not sure what the difference is between CMOS and Super CCD sensors…..(edit) well this just confused me a bit more http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_sensor#CCD_vs_CMOS

Well after looking around I found this Fujifilm with 15x optical zoom, raw image support with dual raw/jpg saving (i think) and GPS tagging for $240 + postage http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProd… . Maybe a better all round buy for me as a current Fujifilm user, but i need to read more reviews and compare to the Panasonic DMC-TZ18 (which has more manual functions) before deciding, and this offer has a midnight expiry!

That one is only "better" than the one in this deal if you dont really care about 3D photos, which this one does and the one youre referring to doesnt.
is this a Point and Shoot Compact, or just a camera that doesn't have interchangeable lenses?
