Anyone Has Zigbee Downlight RGB Setup?

I bought these lights from Amazon as getting some renovations done

Just wondering if anyone has installed this ZigBee? Is it complicated and I need to buy another router or does it just book into Alexa echo devices or mob hue mobile app?

Also what's your experience in general? You have different modes?

Update: Ended up buying these ones: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08K2KJ8S1/ref=ppx_yo_d…
They cheaper and also seem to be simpler as don't need Hue Bridge setup.

  • You need a hub. From your link:

RGBW Smart LED Bulb, Dim and set up light colour (Warm White, Cool White and any other colour) through APP or Voice through a compatible ZigBee Hub:

Echo Plus/, Philips Hue Bridge, SmartThings Hub,, Lightify Hub/Echo Built-in Hub, Hubitat Hub

  • Most zigbee devices need a hub/router; such as hubitat or home assistant or smatthings

  • You need a ZigBee hub. If you use Alexa, the new echo show and echo plus has built in ZigBee hubs so you can connect your ZigBee devices directly. Otherwise use one of the many ZigBee hubs from smart things, Tuya, etc.

If you are only replacing few downlights and not the whole house, get arlec or deta wifi RGB+CCT from Bunnings. Much cheaper, Bunnings warranty and no hub needed. If replacing for the whole house go the smart switch path as no house needs RGB lights throughout.

    • Thanks. However, can you still operate without the hub. So via the switches on the wall?

      • If you are talking about the ZigBee lights yes you can. They will turn on and off like any normal downlight but will default to whatever colour it is pre-set to. Obviously you can't change colours or do dimming without the App.

  • I have those connected to my Philips Hue hub. From experience, I know that the 12W and 15W downlights have different physical sizes (12W is 90mm, 15W is larger), as I have both, but either way, there doesn't seem to be any way of selecting which wattage you want.

Edit: just saw further down in the description it is 9W 90mm
