  The yarn they use on the scratching post will come loose over time - does any one have any tips? I saw some opt for or replace the yarn for for a 'single piece' type of material - e.g. some carpet to staple onto the pole.

  Bought! been watching this for a while contemplating this one or a cheap chinese one off Ebay / Amazon.

  Now that the Costco one has dropped in price and Costco have a easy returns policy, it was a done deal.
