    • Picked up from north sydney store… no issues with them at all.. even returned an item and got a full refund a few weeks ago… so not really that bad in STORE!.. could be their online and over the phone service sux.

  • OP I don't think this is the kind of shop that everyone should EVER trust "so not really that bad in STORE! :) but the online store "maybe" bad.." so really are you kidding??

Did you read their T&C, obviously not!
These guys offer NO WARRANTY, everything is left between you and the grace of a manufacturer supposed they will directly support you, good luck with customer support and have good dealings with them.

isn't that illegal under ACCC laws?

      • Yep, sure is; MSY were pinged for the same breaches last year. http://goo.gl/HFTlx

        • if you're bored just call up the ACCC/Fair Trading and make a complaint.

May as well give some work to some public servants.

      • The thing that is making me laughing more is the "White pages" requirement!

It seems to me like you're going to ask a home loan to your financial institution but I know they just copied the text somewhere a built up their T&C without taking in consideration Australian Laws!

If you have a problem with OrangeIT don't email them. They will keep batting back your questions through an apparent fog of incomprehension. Ring them. In my case, problem solved with first call.

Not sure why that is. Have they got the dummy of the outfit answering emails and the smarty answering the phone? One of life's mysteries- inscrutable.

  • This should go well with my $199 netbook

    • enough already dude! either come up with something original or stop posting this unless you like to be negged to oblivion!

re orangeit, i bought a cheap lappy from these guys in Haymarket one month ago, wouldn't budge on price for 30min and then offered $10 off when i asked to add 4gb ram, installed for free and seemed polite enough, but haven't claimed warranty yet, will post if i do!
also re price, damn good price, don't know how they do it, another ozzie site Techbuy have the same lappy for $510! margins are razor thin on these consumer models, except of course for enterprise/gaming models, must be kickbacks from Acer!

      • They state that they do NOT deal with WARRANTY RETURNS EXCHANGES so the only way they can run this misleading business in Australia is by importing directly from Asia.
