I feel so extra lazy because I already have a billion eneloops and a nitecore charger but still want this because it looks easier to insert the batteries…

  • Does that 2600mah pack means it is 1300mah for a single battery?

2 * white eneloop (2000mah each) doesn't even last long enough to my like so these ones would be even worse I suppose?

    • Probably 2600mah per cell like eneloop pro.

I will never understand people who'd buy these things over a couple of rechargable AAs from Coles with twice the capacity for (most of the time) a significantly lower price.

Like go off, I guess, but in a pinch it's great to know I can rip the batteries out of my Xbox and chuck it in the kiddo's night light or something if needed.

    • Totally agree!

Nothing like telling my kids, "sorry boys, dad needs the AA batteries from your xbox, your mom's torch light has run out of batteries".

      • All the missus' toys are built in lithium rechargable these days ;)

    • Perhaps one day, long after world-peace is achieved, we'll resolve our otherwise irreconcilable differences regarding the choice of batteries.

      • I get it for the official ones at least, since they can be charged via cable in the console, but in my experience half the time the no name ones don't even do that, I'd understand fine if you can charge it off the console tbh

        • You can do that with the model I bought (if you meant plugging in the charger to the console, and not plugging in the controller [with the battery pack in it] to the console), and I'm pretty certain you can with this model, too.

It also includes an additional battery compared to the official one, too, so there's no need to plug the controller in while the other battery's charging.
