Issue with New Sheds Rollerdoor

I'll keep this simple.
Bought a 3mx3m shed with roller door (absco bushranger)
1st door missing parts so absco sent 2nd door out.
It has no spring tension and hence will not stay up.

Absco/and shed seller both said best solution is to get a new door. But it's a 3hr process to replace the door (1hr removal 2hrs install)

Neither have subbies or are willing to help.

Shed mob has offered to pay up to $200 for install but this will not cover install cost.

Plus may not even fix the issue (it's a cheap roller shutter door design that's to long for door) originally absco wanted me to remove door remove a few slats reassble and retension (roller door is made by Oz roll and some of there instructions say use included tool to tension which I never got)

What are my options at this stage I'm tempted to get a 3rd door try to sell off spare doors for some more $$$.

It has no spring tension and hence will not stay up.

Was tension applied correctly as part of the install? Normally you have to wind them up as part of the install.

    TLDR.

  • It has no spring tension and hence will not stay up.

Must not be an “attractive” Rollerdoor.

  • "Absco" well there's ya first mistake….

Why do you need a roller door on a 3m² shed?

Down the 1 side of the property that has side access there is a storm water drain so no shed there.

Other side of property there is a longer shed/BBQ area but means I would need to open and close a gate plus BBQ furniture is in the way.

I'm on a small block and council has said no to a enclosed carport 9m2 means no council approval needed. Bogan as f**k yes, cheap yes 2 Harley's with Shannons classes them as highly modified and must be kept locked up.

It's a glorified garden shed yrp but gotta do what you gotta do bikes are insured for 65k combined.

I'm selling the switchback if anyone is keen on a modified Harley but that's another story.

I expected the quility to be adverage and flat pack spec like Ikea or fantastic furniture.

Instructions are total crap and never mentioned anything about tension. I found a ozroll manual/procedure for another roller shutter product of theres but method/tools to do so beats me.

This is a shutter door not a roller door and normally used for windows ect ect.

Apparently commonly used as gsrafe doors in the UK.
