      I've only been a member for 2 years and have successfully redeemed it every bday. First time the newb staff didn't know how to process the free drink until she called her manager. Last year they almost gave me a large coffee.

        I remember the good old days with Hillsong when they were still humble and didn’t had much money.

        Sing-a-longs were held in indoor high school basketball courts in north west Sydney.

    I used to frequently scan my rewards card when going through the drive-thru at North Lakes, but my points never increased, but at every other store it would. They said there was no issue with the system though lol

      It’s a very crappy designed setup. Both the app and the webpage. I have found so many little things that just aren’t right. Feels like they got a bunch of grade 6 kids to code this for them. The app doesn’t even show the birthday coffee or sign up coffee

    It’s cheaper for me to make a coffee with my fancy coffee machine. This reduces my per-cup cost, whereas getting one completely free gets me nowhere

    Gloria Jean is where I've been to lately to boost my day (one reason is due to discounted vouchers at my local). My complaint is I feel like they hired underpaid staff. The store started to stop receiving orders 1.5hr before closing time. And they are already prepared to close like closing half the door etc. I could see many customers including me felt forced to leave and were unhappy. Even staff don't look happy on some days. Recently the business seems to be better and they have prolonged the order time. Another complaint is only 2 power points broken or not are unavailable.

    I usually order a cup of cappuccino and sit on my phone/laptop for 1-2 hours. Not sure what other people get?

      Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling. If not contact Gloria Jeans, that's what I did, I got my sign up coffee, mine expires in February.

    I've never quite understood why the heck would you go to these places (Gloria Jeans, Coffee Club etc) when you can probably get a better coffee for the same price from an independent place the same shopping centre/down the road.

      Safe to say that this community is drawn to free things? If that independent place had a loyalty program with a free drink or two, I'm sure OzB would be hitting it up too. Personally, I'll only be visiting GJ for my free drinks and that is all!

      Agree. Major chain coffee tends to be less flavoursome and uninspiring IMO. Even if it was free I’d still be disappointed so I’ll just avoid. Like other posters have said, most independent cafes and coffee shops have their own loyalty program with the 6th or 10th drink free, usually by stamping a card with no need to hand over your personal details.
