Lumintop FW3A super Bright 2800LM with 3 Cree XPL LED down to $58.64 on a lightning Deal. This is an excellent choice as a compact carry around flashlight with many modes. The output led temp is probably on the cool side. I can see on the listing if its 5000K or 6500K

Requires a high drain 18650 battery be used which is included.

    I’ve always bought these for ~$5 on eBay and they’ve a lasted years, warranty wise I would just buy another but never had an issue-Just lost it after 2 years.

      These new China-made torches (such as Lumintop, Emisar/Noctigon, Sofirn, etc.) are leagues ahead of the generic brands you find on eBay, and even better than some of big brands you see in brick and mortar stores such as Led Lenser.         Don't do it - I just wanted one good torch and I've bought 18 so far. twitch (this is a great one though - I was deciding between this and the EDC18, this is much better… I ended up with both :-|)

                  D4V2 is my bedside light too but with a diffuser. I swear it's not as bright as it originally was though.

      I actually buy them from AliExpress. Cheap and plenty bright for what I need and if I lose it(which I do) just buy another. Probably will invest in a proper one like this one day.
      Batteries are the issue now that you can't buy from overseas with cheap postage.

      Not this one you didn't - i think you're referring to the Sipik sk68 clones that use AA batteries and put out 100-200 lumens.

      You only need it that bright for a few seconds while you show your friends. Then you can go down to 600lm or so and it’s just pleasantly warm

      Quality wise I think they're on par, I've only had a problem with one Lumintop (EDC18 rubber button not working properly) and haven't had an issue with any of my Sofirns (SP36, LT1, SC31 Pro, SP40 and SD05… yes, I have a torch problem).

          Received mine and loving it. (sorry OP, this model is better). First time buying a torch over $10 but this is a phenomenal product. It's so blindingly bright. Loves the tail magnet, switchable clip, lanyard and the glow in the dark diffuser. Might consider purchasing another one.

            @Yummy: Mine arrived yesterday too and it's very impressive. Certainly not my first torch (wife just rolls her eyes now when a new one turns up), love the ramping rather than clicking through levels and nice even beam. Totally forgot about the tail magnet until I read your comment…just keeps getting better!

    I've had a Led Lenser T7 for a few years now and it looks like it has max output of 175 lumens and I find it's pretty bright.

    Is this Lumintop FW3A actually 2800 lumens? Am I comparing that right? That means this torch would be 16 times brighter?? If so torches must have really come a long way over the last few years.

      The F3A in the OP would most likely achieve around 2,800 lumen or thereabouts for a short period. I dont have one but should achieve around 2,800 for 10-20 seconds then dips to possibly 1,000 lumen. This is a lot more light than the Led Lenser you mention. I've got a (https://lumintop.com/product/fw21pro/) which in theory produces up to 10,000 Lumen in turo mode. It may not peak at this figure but it would be close, again for a short period.       I don't remember the exact function but lumens and perceived brightness is non linear. It won't look 16 times brighter to the eye but it certainly is 16 times more output.
