TDK Life on Record iCubic - $29.95 - Free Delivery

30

I purchased one of these about 18 months ago for $89, I have been happy with the sound quality for traveling etc, I must admit at $29.95 they are a steal.

  • What is the sound like compare to a logitech pure fi express?

    • The sound quality is horrid.

There is no treble at all, and only a plastic-boomy bass. And note that they are MONO, not stereo.

As a clock radio, they are OK, but the buttons are tiny (especially the Sleep and volume). As a speaker system they are pathetic.

      • It is actually not all that bad if you use the equalizer pre-sets. It adds a lot of bass and trebble compared to without. For the price it is very good I think. The remote is very handy, and has a very good range.

  • this work with iphonen4s?

    • Sort of… They will charge your iphone and you can play your music with them but…they are not optimised for iphone and as such, mine picks up horrible interference from the phone…especially bad when the signal is weak…I have to switch to airplane mode at night otherwise its terrible.
Ok for ipod though, and I found dealfox good to deal with in the past.

  • I doubt that anybody would use one of these for travelling - they are a clock radio that requires mains power connection.

  • My kids use this for their "bathroom music"
It was a Freebie via Staples a while ago.
for the price (free) they are good value
i find it souns quite good for what it is.
Not sure if would fork out $30 for one though.
They do work with iphones. (just tried my iphone 4, all OK)
