    My partner and I used something similar to this but Britax brand for our daughter as a newborn upwards of 8 months:

    We liked the Britax version as it was easy to remove from the base which meant we avoided waking our daughter after car rides.
    Although this product doesn't specify, the Britax capsule can also fit into Britax strollers or certain brands of strollers by purchasing specific capsule adaptors. This was convenient for taking our daughter out of the car and into her stroller in one go.

    Keep in mind the Britax (nor this Chicco version) is not Isofix compatible if you prioritise that.
    You'll need to buy a gated buckle to keep the base of the the capsule secure in the car.

  These are rarely used these days. A good RF 0-4 yrs seat with an infant insert is just the same. Never had an issue removing bubs from car etc and getting back to sleep. You aren't meant to leave them to sleep in a capsule for too long anyway. Save yourself some $$, repeat the same put to bed routine each time and all is good.

  I personally used this capsule with my 2nd daughter. It was an absolute lifesaver for me because I had to manage a toddler and a baby and being able to quickly get her in and out of the car or stroller without disturbing her saved me time and saved my sanity. The official recommendation is not to leave babies in any capsule for longer than 2 hours which was easy for me as I used it for quick trips to the shops, etc. Using a capsule is a personal decision and depends on how you live your life, if you are mostly staying at home then it probably isn't necessary but if you like to get out and about then it 100% worked for me.
