      😳😳😳

      • +17

        delta version

    • +9

      Gladys version

      • +4

        I’m Gladys version wasn’t released

    • +4

This is the Sydney edition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3ADZQxWU5A

    • Get special card and save the elderly, and win the gladwrap grand joobkeeper prize

    • That version ends in death and decay every time.

    • Noone uses Gregory Street directory anymore for "Special Sydney Edition"

  • -4

    Nah yeah

  • +3

If only you could lock down states in the board game.

    • +6

in other versions you can haha, you can add a road block token so characters and the disease (/zombies) can't pass through!

    • Can't lock down a state of frustration.

  • +8

Great price for a great co-op game. For those that dont like competative gaming, and would rather Co-operate with all the players.

    • +2

Havent tried this one yet, but with other coop games its a great experience. Especially if you have one of those really competitive friends who thinks it's all about winning, coop games make it much more enjoyable.

      • +3

Worth picking it up then. This is a co-op classic

    • +3

Was gonna say this game sucks if you like competitive games. This one was a play once and shelve for our board game nights

    • +5

More like a single player game… it usually turns out to be the most experienced player controlling and "advising" every single move and the others just following suit. lol

      • +1

        It's called "quarterbacking" :(

      • I like playing solo. I'm playing a legacy game with a few friends though and even the most overbearing player is good at letting people do their thing. He's aware of it being an issue with the game though, so I'm sure he is consciously avoiding doing it.

      • There's an expansion pack where someone plays as a bio terrorist to avoid this. That way you can have the most experienced player versus everyone else.

Pretty much any team game has this issue though, best way to get around it is to just politely request they only offer advice if requested so that everyone can make their own decisions.

    • would rather Co-operate with all the players.

I'm sure this game will be a hit in the South West /s
      :P

Board game? Farrrrrrq this is real life!

    • Bored game for real life?

  • +11

Nice find. Nothing beats getting away from reality than reality itself.

    • +1

      Top comment LOL XD

  • The jokes on this are just too easy so I will leave it alone. I guess all I will say is that it's likely it's cheap cause nobody needs a board game to experience the thrills this game will give you for now.

  • +7

Have you heard that there's a very limited Sky News edition of this game?

    It's called Plandemic.

  • Was a bit peeved because I bought this for $35, but if you chat to Amazon, they will add a $6 promo discount for your next purchase.

    • I guess it depends on when you bought it. I bought it a week or two ago and actually accidentally bought two copies at $35. I'm not going to try to get credit when I bought it that far back. I bought some tools a while back and the price changed by $10 overnight. I was pretty annoyed and they gave me some credit that time.

For me if I buy something at the all time low and it goes lower a while later I'm not going to stress too much. The camels is such a great tool, I'm definitely miles ahead even if I do buy things I don't really need.

      • Arrived yesterday. Bought Sunday.

  • Seems like a good deal

Note shipping estimate has July 20-28th for me - is this the same as everyone else?

    • Yep. Same for me too, with prime.

  • +1

Pretty hard game too! Don't despair if you lose the first couple times.

    • +4

Victoria lost a few times before they won….or have they won?

      • +2

Vic are still the reigning losers.
Sydney will have to try a bit harder yet.

        • +2

Vic are still the reigning losers.

Wait maybe I don't understand the game?
I thought we were winning in VIC
          https://snipboard.io/DFgPnT.jpg

This is why I don't play board games

          • @idonotknowwhy:

Wait maybe I don't understand the game?
I thought we were winning in VIC

Good point - if the idea of the game is to kill as many people as possible, VIC is 'killing it' :)

  • anyone know when this game was release? This is just as fascinating when I found out the movie Contagion last year. That movie has now became a documentary

    • 2008

      • we should've saw it coming…….

        • +3
          • @currentfad: not hard to predict really, we have cheated nature ever since the invention of medicine. I am not against it though as it saves million of lives but it's funny to see how some people think we can live the way we used to, like back to survive at the fittest.
Medication is a victim of its own success and also a victim for those who abused it for greed but then that's just about everything in life..

Looking for simple and fun (not nerdy) board game recommendations like formula D. Any ideas? Needs to support at least 4 players and good for when travelling on a campervan.

  • +6

    This is a sick deal

    • +1

I thought it was pretty crook :(

      • I'm dying of laughter rn

        • I can't breathe!

  • Somebody buy this for scomo he might learn a thing or two

    • He'll clear Australia and think that's the end of the game

      • He'll fly from Australia to another country's city and think that's the end of the game.

  • Excellent deal!
Is this a genuine version? One of the reviewers received a counterfeit.

  • +2

I'm waiting for the Gold Standard Edition.

  • I always play this on Boardgamearena.com

    Very good co-op game.

    • interesting, multiplayer?

      • Yes, you can play with anyone worldwide

  • +1

Looks like this deal is not available any more. The price defaults to $46.

    • yeah, same. Argh.

  • $35.34 for me

    • How are you accessing it? Through the app?

      • desktop browser

        • Thanks - weird, it seems to be back to 27.99 now. I'll jump on it while I still can.

  • This is 2021 version. You can only find Sydney on the map

    • Cause Victoria got wiped out in 2020?

  • Too soon.

  • Back to $46 for me.

  • Thanks OP, think I got the last $28 :)

  • Thanks! Got in before they sold out. Got two copies. Going to give them away to the schools nearby

  • Don't need to "play a game", its "already a reality"

  • Available again

  • +1

Back in stock again for those who missed out.

  • Vic and SA are now invited and encouraged to join the party

  • is Click and Clack available?

    • You can pick it up from an Amazon Parcel Locker, but it won't be free (if that's why you are asking). I think it just reduces the delivery cost by a $1, may as well signup for a months prime for $6.99 rather than pay $5 or $6 delivery.
