    usually they only have 1 button. A full press turns the torch on and off, a half press changes between modes

  I bought the 210 Lumen one, cost a bit over $6 delivered.

  Edit: at 210 lumen and only powered by a AA battery, I reckon it should be good for 2-3 minutes LOL

    More like 120 lumens and could only be acheived with a 14500 3.7v li-ion (which it accepts)

    It looks like a copy of the Sipik SK68 which isn't a bad thing

      The genuine sipik is not 3-mode, but it's an absolutely awesome torch for the price. I got mine from Meritline for US$8.99 (now $9.99).

      Every time I use it it still amazes me that something running from a single AA Alkaline can have so much grunt, and the battery is lasting seemingly forever. There seems to be no drop in output over time, since it's some kind of "stepup thingy" that changes 1.5V to the 3V or so that the LED needs.

      The "inverter" and LED Chip in the genuine one really is that excellent - if I remember correctly I think that the DX reviewers found that the light output is not any brighter with a Lithium in there.

        Mate, I use the Led Lenser P5R at work, now THAT's an incredible torch, do a youtube search, it's just insane, AND RECHARGABLE!

  I was actually looking for a cheap LED light. I like the high/low setting on this Q3 unit (Deal 3), so I just bought one for under AUD7 delivered. Plan to use with a rechargeable AA.
