Can't vouch for the seller but ten bucks for a guitar pedal is pretty good. There is also a chorus, compressor, aby switch and DI box for the same price at https://donnermusic.com.au/collections/snap-deal
Shipping for me was also free and you can pay via PayPal so may be some protection there.

I bought their electric drum kit and had a major issue with the module. Emailed customer service and got ignored, so now I'm trying to get my money back with PayPal. Cannot vouch for this company at all.

That's the taste on everyone tongue.

It's funny that the reviews are either 1 or 5 stars, no in-between.

      • +2

Normally when a company has a couple of 1 stars (below 10%), I'd assume the only people complaining are the ones with issues whilst the majority just click "5 star" with a satisfied order.

When a company has 38% 1 star reviews (TrustPilot), there is definitely something lacking in communication and/or good business practice.

Oh well, learned my lesson: Trust the reviews.

        • Oof.

Now we just need a deal on a decent 9V power supply. Still never used my TubeScreamer clone pedal because the stupid 9V power supply I bought off eBay for like $15 was dead on arrival and the seller fought for their life to not exchange it or provide a refund.

    • Same happened to me! Its not dead, just the wrong polarity. I eventually got a refund.

  • Damn some of this stuff is cheap.
Do they do these deals often and rotate the items?

  • Cheers OP ordered a few things see what quality they are but not risking much for the price

  • Don’t play the guitar, bought 5 out of FOMO.

15yo me paid I think $180 for a distortion pedal back in the day.

Wish OzBargain was around back then.

    • Haha same and quality was probably poor as well

    Order has been shipped.

Bought the delay, chorus and noise gate on Wed night, and they shipped yesterday afternoon (from Melbourne surprisingly), arriving this morning (I'm in Melbourne as well). Really surprised at the fast postage, as I bought a Donner pedal years back and it shipped from China. The pedals are pretty good quality - the noise gate works really well, the chorus is underwhelming and the delay sounds great, but has a weird clicking sound that I can't dial out. Great deal for anyone who snagged them for $10 each, even at $20 they're good!

Got today, seem good quality for the price

    • Same here. Got the cappo and seems good quality. Came with four guitar picks

      • Capo (came with picks too) and some cables arrived today. Good deal. Will order again.

    • I received 6" cables and picks today (can't fault quality at all). Pedals are due tomorrow. This is working out suprisingly well.

      • What pedals did you order and what do you think of them?

        • +1

I ended up with the delay, chorus, compressor and DI. All work as expected and sound quite good to my ear (powered with Boss 9V adaptor). The delay is very similar to my MXR Carbon Copy. The chorus is atmospheric and the compressor is amazing for beefing up your sound generally. The tiny knobs take a bit of getting used to though.

I agree with you on the capo and the picks are just picks (what could go wrong really?).

Based on my personal experience, I'll order from Donner again. Seriously considering their Telecaster.

          • @Thusly Galore: That's great that your happy with them. Especially for the price. I'd consider ordering from them again if they have another special. Cheers for posting the deal!

    • Have now received mine. I ordered a Chorus pedal, capo and some picks.
The capo is actually really good. The pedal is useless, i cannot notice any change in effect at all. No regret though as it was only $10.

  • I got the chorus pedal and it didn't work. They sent me a replacement it also didn't work.

    • Curious as to how those with issues are powering your pedals

      • It takes the same 9V power supply as majority of other pedals, e.g. Big Muff. There's definitely no user error, it's just a guitar pedal, so I assume it is just faulty build/components. Both pedals the switch just turns on the light and no effect, except maybe a faint clicking.
