Convenient you posted all of the dot points listed on the site and left out Imported

Australian Uggs that are imported? From Tasmania maybe?

  • Where are these imported for? Would be great if there was a little more transparency on this as it seems purposefully omitted.

  • I must say their site and products look very dodgy. For instance…
    https://siricco.com.au/collections/super-clearance-mens-jackā€¦

The jacket being sold is different in smaller fine detailing than the jacket being worn by the person. The Gucci mens shoes don't look like any Gucci shoes that were ever sold.

  • Counterfeit products not supposed to be posted.. (in rules)

    • Okay, you got me. What's counterfeit about them? Slippers/moccasins (there's a clue for you) like this were around long before sheepskin Ugg boots were registered in Au. The term UGG boot has since become generic and unfortunately has been by commandeered the American company.

Plenty of Chinese made products posted here are clones of patented products, not that two wrongs make a right.

Edit: seems to be an Australian owned business selling imported gear. Nothing new or shonky about that, especially since we largely jettisoned our own manufacturing base.

Ive never known Uggs to be a generic name for this type of boot, Uggs are Aussie made as far as Im concerned……the only time i`ve seen the knock offs was at the market (where all the counterfit products go to be sold) and they were low quality cheap ones..I am very surprised to see an actual Aussie retailer using the brand Ugg, and trying to get the same mark up that Ugg Australia has worked hard to establish…

        • I suggest you google 'UGG Deckers' and read the legal issues involved with the trademark. It's been discussed on OzB previousy. They essentially gazumped Australian makers. Ask anyone what an Ugg boot is and they won't mention place of manufacture. So legally and anecdotally your neg is invalid.

Wrt Ugg Australia: I had (and still have to some extent wrt the the name) sympathy for them wrt the trademark but since buying a pair of their boots which split along the rear seam (after about half a dozen wears on one, double that before the other one let go) and getting no solution ("we're very busy") I'm more than happy to buy elsewhere. Previous pair from a Sydney seller were OS-made from Australian skins and gave excellent service.

          • @[Deactivated]: lost me at my neg is invalid…

            • @siresteelhell: Not surprised. When you learn what a counterfeit product is let us all know, we'll have a covid-safe party.
