    Vaporflys or Alphaflys are best-in-class race day shoes. They are tricky to handle though for less experienced runners.

These shoes have pretty much eliminated joint/shin pain for the last 3 weeks of running. Like running on bouncy marshmallow. I bought it at RRP like a sucker, hopefully someone managed to score some!
