    Prices seem inflated? E.g. Varta Q85 is $450 ($315 after discount) on your site.
    Same battery can be found here https://www.everybattery.com.au/online/product/varta-q85/ for $299 regular price.

    Grossly overpriced. I wonder if anyone tried the $150 80ah AGM battery from kmart. If I have a stop start vehicle within specs I probably try it on myself and do the review.

      Not rated for under bonnet use and can catch fire that’s if the bonnet would close and probably not covered by insurance fitting a storage battery vs starting/cycling automotive grade hybrid unit.

        Mate, agm is just old tech of glorified lead acid battery? How can it catch fire? Perhaps you should go check your chemistry knowledge and don't confuse it with lithium.

          I’m selling high quality made in Germany, USA and Australian made Century batteries in store most of my competitors sell cheap and nasty with their own interests for profit in mind.

          FYI feel a case on a camping battery vs an automotive agm it’s double the thickness with breather valves

      On average our prices are $200-300 cheaper than Bmw, Mercedes, Vw, Toyota $50-100 on same Australian made products. And in some cases an $1100 battery from BMW $300 less at our retail this 30% promo would make it 50% off and our warranty period is 36 months vs 24.

      This is why they only come with 2 years warranty not 3-3.5 years as most high end batteries do.

        What review would state how poor a battery is? They design them to last a little longer than warranty periods thus the sticker

    What a wonderful advancement stop start was. Does absolutely nothing to real world fuel economy. Was just another racket for manufacturers to game the system. Many people turn it off every trip and want a permanent off option added. And to add insult to injury you have to pay hundreds more for a battery which certainly negates any microscopic fuel saving..

      We typically see 3 life cycles out of a quality AGM product vs basic lead acid type batteries prices are according to the quality and durability. Most high end manufacturers fitted agm batteries in 2003 onwards stop start being introduced 2012ish so it wasn’t really related to the implementation of agm / efb heavy duty batteries

      Efb is popular in Europe as it’s a denser unit compared to standard lead acid (much better weather for a battery)
