Gigabyte Z590 AORUS ULTRA Motherboard $299, Cooler Master MWE 550W 80+ Gold Power Supply $49 (OOS) + $9.90 Delivery @ PC Byte

220

Update 25/7: PSU out of stock.

Some nice prices. The bronze version of this PSU was a popular deal a few months ago at $45, so this is just $4 more for gold. The motherboard is $399+ elsewhere. Limit of 1 per customer for the PSU.

For anyone interested they also have Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti EAGLE for $2399 (looks like the lowest price for a 3080 Ti so far on OzB).

That's bronze, but decent price nonetheless.

  • Really good price for a gold PSU.
I've already ordered a $29 bronze PSU recently from Scorptec, which is plenty for my needs, but otherwise probably would have jumped on this.

  • Was planning to order a Corsair for my first build - $124.99 on Amazon for Corsair CP-9020123-AU CX750 750 Watts 80 Plus Bronze. Is the 750W Cooler Master for $77 a better deal for nearly equivalent performance?

Corsair is generally a better perceived brand and their PSU must be of better quality, you won't go wrong with it.
On the other hand, this Cooler Master should be OK too, and is better value for money.

Don't buy the one on Amazon. The Corsair CX750M (modular) is available for $105 with free shipping here.

They also have a SilverStone 750W gold for the same price https://www.centrecom.com.au/silverstone-viva-750w-80-gold-a… (the Corsair is only bronze).

      • Thanks for suggestions, ended up ordering the CX750M for $105.

  • Grabbed the PSU, thanks!

  • I'm running an Antec 620w PSU from 2011 and it's never given me problems but considering its age might it be wise to pick this up as a spare?

    • I'd say only if you can't afford any downtime. It could last another 10 years
