Disco Elysium is 40% off. Tempting.

Love both these games, couple of my favourite PS4 games.

  • +10

These two are the hidden gems for PS4. They are very underrated due to the lack of marketing.
    Highly recommended

    • Also some rough edges, but yeah, great games.

    • Hidden gems that really made the most of the vita. Shame it was rinse and repeat although I liked the game it isn't for everyone

      • +1

Yeah not quite as good as loco roco

  • I bought the first game on PS4 ages ago and never played… reminds me to give it a good go :)

    • +1

If you bought physical you should what it's worth now.

      • +2

Traded that bad boy in ages ago because I hated it on PS4. Have it on Vita and it's awesome but couldn't get into it on PS4

      • +1

I just checked prices. Holy cow. Why is it worth so much?

        • +2

It was a limited release through Amazon I think. As there's a cult following for the game as well, the prices are pretty steep.

          • @bestywesty: WHAT THE HECK. I bought the first game on a whim as the second game was on sale so I wanted to prepare but never got around to buying the second one…

            $119 that is crazy…

@HeyHeyHeyIsItADeal: Bought a GR2 Collector Edition (Asian region with Eng) version that came with Figma action figure Kat, cost me $200 ish if Iam not mistaken. It is currently around $500 on ebay.

              • @Yummy: These days you just have to YOLO buy everything. Because collectible things will only go up in price as Youtube spreads the hype on everything.

@plmko: Or step off the hedonic treadmill entirely…

                • @plmko: Yeah the CE was ultra rare, more like FOMO for me, buy now regret later. I wonder why they dont release it for Western market.

Happy with mine, not gonna sell it. :D

            • @HeyHeyHeyIsItADeal: Sold my copy on FB, was only able to get $50 for it

              • +1

@profounddominator: That's still a pretty good price for a second hand Gravy Rush Remastered edition :O I probably could use it to buy R&C PS5 game probably get more instead of trading it in for EBGames lmao

          • @bestywesty: It wasn't limited release. It wasn't super popular at the time, they didn't make many copies. People take time to finish games and then some games go up in price.

      • Thanks for the tip :)

      • Rugby league live 4 wc edition feels

At $500 , or even 50$ considering how old it is, I'd expect it to be a bloody good game. I think its only 'ok'. @ 13$ thats pretty good, but I wouldn't rebuy just to get Remastered version.

Played Gravity Rush 2. Fantastic game!!

  • +5

Gravity Rush 1 was a delight, platinum'd on both Vita and PS4 when it came there. Never got into number 2 though, might have to pick it up for when EB's "July shipment" of PS5s finally comes in.

  • +1

First is a great game. Never did get far into 2.

  • +1

Really enjoyed the OG on the Vita. TBH, I didn't even know they made another one.

    • +2

The second one is fantastic with an incredibly unique world layout. I wouldn't miss out on it!

      • +2

Despicable they never released the sequel on the Vita.

        • Someone at Sony really hated the Vita

  • Cant play demo on ps5 :(

  • +2

I played both GR1 and GR2. Both are really good games published by Sony themselves. I would recommend playing in order; GR1 has the world building and set up then GR2 drastically improves everything the first game did. Shame it didn't enough much attention to make it to a trilogy, imagine what it'll be like if it runs on the PS5.

If you like platformers or wonder what that UE5 engine trailer would play like, than I suggest having a crack at them

  • +1

So tempted. but pile of shame is taller than me now….

    • +1

It's not as wide as you, thicken your shame.

  • Thanks OP, owned the first one but never played for more than 5mins, brought the 2nd one

  • +1

Is it okay to try the demo of the second one, or would it "ruin" something in the first game? I looked up some gameplay and it looks interesting but I'm unsure if I'll actually like it.

  • I have this on Vita, but have only played like 30 mins. The first thing I noticed is some nice use of the Vita features. Is it worth playing on PS4 instead for the better graphics/frame rate or the Vita for the gyro/touchscreen?

  • RIP Japan Studio
