      I wouldn't stand for it!

This allows you to continue using your computer whilst on your daily 1 hour exercise walk…

      • exactly :)

  • Any recommended free remote for Smart TV ( Samsung) from Apple App Store?

    • Isn't there one that Samsung make?

      • Lost, ordered one but until it gets shipped looking for an option from my iPhone.

        • I meant a Samsung iphone app. Most manufacturers do their own apps.

I have a Panasonic and TCL tv and both have apps.

          • @jv: actually I made an app for that too… free: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/smart-tv-remote-control/id1535… (with payment for premium features)

            • @cherpake: Are you the developer of the app? The developer is originally from Israel. What are you doing on OzBargain?

            • @cherpake: some of your other apps look interesting too… Finale and Sibelius keypads - are you a muso?

              • @snapper: I own all the Pro version apps made by Cherpak. He is a very good iOS/Mac developer and the quality of apps are really good.

          • @cherpake: Hi Cherpake, installed your app but it's not getting connected as app asks for allow this iphone connection to the TV but there is no option on tV to accept it. What's d problem?

  • Is there similar for Android and Windows where a combination of mobile data and pc on wifi work in tandem?

Teamviewer only allows if all devices are within same wifi network.

    • Teamviewer does give you remote access (by design)

      • yes, but only via same wifi.

im trying to connect via 4g to my pc connected to wifi at home.. or am i missing a setting?

Any idea as to how secure this is? Don’t want to open up a backdoor wormhole to combatant enemies!

TOS says they are “governed by the laws of the State of Israel”, not sure what the implication of that is. I wonder how Apple protects against third party app likes this? I know they added warning about apps trying to access your local network. Obviously in this case it would be necessary.

Looks like the app is free because it has switched to a subscription model? You need to buy either a 1 month or 1 year subscription to access "premium features" whatever that means.

There’s no IAP for the Pro version of this app.

      • You are right! My bad. I saw the developer said on Reddit that he's making it free for a couple of days so he can get some more good reviews.

  • Anyone having issues with Mac BigSur? it shows the screen but unable to move around

  • this app is actually worth its money. thanks, op for the deal.

  • Why isn’t this sort of functionality built into MacOS/iPadOS? There’s a lot to like about the integration between Apple devices but this sort of thing seems like a glaring omission. Unless I’m missing something? Microsoft Remote Desktop works great on Windows and I even use the client on
my Mac to access my Windows server.

<edit> ok I told you I was probably missing something. New to the Apple store ecosystem. Just read abou screen sharing. Anyone know how that may compare to this software?
