If you're patient, creating an account and not ordering anything will eventually net you $30 discounts

    • No minimum spends?

      • $0.01 min spend usually.

      • $1 min spend. Current code is WELCOMEAUS. Targeted though, so just leave it there until you’ve got the email.

    • you gotta wait 7 days I think?

      • Only a week?? That's pretty good

    • i dont use it for months and never get vouchers.

    • You have to use different credit card and private browser.
Otherwise the code will be rejected.

  • If i get a new sim card with new number and use this new number on my existing phone ( which had a ubereat account already) , will i be able to register as a new user?

What is the best way to get this welcome promo with uber eats, didi , doordash etc?

    Thanks

    • Better create a new account on your laptop.

    • Go on a different browser on your laptop using a hotspot mobile and create an account, wait 3-4 days for the $30 off code, and order to your house

      • But of course i will need a new mobile number each time I sign up with a new account?

        • Yes, when creating a new account it will ask for your number and send you a text message, it will also ask for a new email so just put a "." somewhere in your normal email for example, " [email protected] -> [email protected] ", ubereats will think it is a new email but gmail ignores the "." so it will direct it to the original email, so you can get the $30 code without making another email.

          • @metaphex: But what about payment method? Wont it need to be a new detail every time ?

            • +1

@spedohero: Yes you would need a new card each time, to counter this get the Revolut app, Revolut has a feature where it generates a new virtual card that has 1 single use, so you can use it once and it will delete the card and generate a new one for you. This way you won't run out of payment methods.

              • @metaphex: Hi there, a quick question about single use of virtual card, Uber Eats does a pre auth $1 normally when a new card is added. Then the payment. Would that create an issue? Does pre auth count as one use?
                Thanks!

                • @ja912son: No, the preauth they do is actually $0 on revolut, and thus it does not count as a single charge, so it will still work, I have done this many times without issues.

                  • @metaphex: Cool. Thanks for confirming that

                  • @metaphex: today it isnt working with revolut payment, are you facing the same?

                    • @jes: not sure, ive been using doordash as it is a better deal, let me know if youd like my referral code :)

                      • @metaphex: I've already used doordash but thanks. Please let me know if your revolt if you ever use ubereats again :)

                      • @metaphex: Can you share what's the better deal using doordash? thank you

                        • @spedohero: $15 off $20 spend for first 3 orders + $1 delivery.

Delivery fee is waved if you sign up for dashplus and there is a 2 week trial, if you'd like my referral for the deal let me know :)

                    • @jes: No issue for me I used it today

Doordash's new user promo is actually really good at the moment,

    $15 off $20 spend for first 3 orders + $1 delivery.

Would argue that its better than the uber eats ones.

    • What's the promo code for this?

      • Just signup with a referral link, have PM'D you mine.

        • your PM's are closed :)

uber eats is such a rip off. by the time you add on all there fees and charges plus the food being priced up to pay for the extra cut they get from the seller its getting close to a 50% surcharge. i logged on tonight to order and got an entirely new fee. Free delivery fee of $2. what the hell!!
