  • If it is missing n5 for 5G, then its not UK/EU version.

  • No SD card, no headphone jack.
    I'll look elsewhere.

  • FYI if you want an Australian charger plug, you can cheaply purchase Realmi AU plugs that support OnePlus Warp charging at full speed.

  • Yuck MediaTek Processor. Not a fan of the config theyve opted for here…. :( And my OP5T needs a replacement soon, but I really want that Silent/Vibrate/Ring Toggle….

  • OnePlus or Poco x3 pro?

    • Both worthy options but if you want/need 5G you can consider the Poco F3.

  • No SD Card Slot
    No Headphone Jack
    No Band 28

Lots of things missing for a $600 phone.

Performance is around Snapdragon 870 level.

    • +1

Personally headphone jack doesn't bother me at all, OnePlus Buds are USB-C and work well enough for when my Bluetooth headphones are flat.
SD card slot use cloud storage.

Band 28 is a definite issue, but does this apply to both models?

    • I personally can't live without the top two, although I've read this model does have band 28. So as a V20 user, this phone isn't for me.

For me this is more of a sign of A78 cores finally trickling down. We can only hope of Xiaomi releasing a budget phone with a similar class SOC and 108mp 1/1.52" sensor.

It's on qualcomm now to release a decent midrange soc with hardware AV1 decoding, their flagship SD 888 still lacks this feature while Mediatek's midrange SOCs are beginning to have it.

  • Look for a mi max 4 alternative. Don't like skinny screens.
