  • Looking for a seat to build into a racing sim. I assume I'd still retain the back tilt adjustment if I removed from the base?

Not sure if it's worth the punt sight unseen, $14 delivery for me to WA then "Applicable freight fees and a 15% re-stocking fee will be deducted from your refund in cases where you changed your mind about your purchase and wish to return the product." Guess could probably onsell it for lower loss if it doesn't suit.

    Any other suggestions?

  • Looks like it is out of stock
EDIT: Sorry, still have stock, just take a while to update delivery stock

  • Hmm, can't see blue chair in stock anymore.

  • blue oos

      $60.95 Kogan - Blue
      $61.90 eBay - Blue

      $63.95 Dick Smith - Green
      $63.95 Kogan - Green
      $63.90 eBay - Green

Various savings applicable such as Welcome $5 credit on signing-up first order / free delivery.

My feedback on this having item is the armrests; they are not adjustable and screws do tend to get loose. Rest no issues with it.

      Good find OP.

        Their listings are rampant.

Kogan, Dick Smith and Matt Blatt are all Ruslan owned. See it on one, you'll usually see it on all.

@bamzero: I pointed it out to stress that the deal has nothing to do with bunnings really.

            • @Neoika: Yeh everyone getting into marketplace selling these days, even Woolies (though only their Big W stuff for now, though sure it won't be long before you see an Artiss Racer chair on there too)

      • It also stacks with AFTERPAY10 on eBay + $30 Afterpay referral

Bringing its to $24 inc. delivery

It’s good chair but not for long sittings! Can’t sit for more 10 mins and I don’t think it supports my back adequately.

  • Anyone have any other suggestions for a comfy computer chair? Im in the market for one. $150 or less.

    • Not sure you get much at that price. These type of things are probably it.

  • grabbed the green one. Thanks ops.

  • +1

Green might still be in stock. Was able to order one 30 seconds ago.

  • Thanks! Grabbed a yellow foot rest one (was thinking too much and missed out on the white one). For $80, sure will beat the dining chair I'm sitting on lol.

  • Anyone tried these

  • +1

These chairs won't last more than 12 months. Remember this comment :)

  • Green is still in stock - just ordered one for delivery to SA.

  • PU leather will last for years if you apply leather conditioner every 3-6 months and keep it out of the sun.

  • Anyone else have their Bunnings green gaming chair cancelled?

    • Wish they could cancel mine. Can get it with free postage on ebay.

  • So instead of cancelling the blue/black gaming chair they shipped it ukh. Anyone want it in Sydney at cost price? $60.95
I ended up getting the other chair

    • Which other chair if I can ask? Thanks

      • +1

In the original post, I ended up getting the one with the footrest but the link is 404 now

  • I bought the Yellow chair with the Footrest on impulse and I don't really need one. Please IM me if anyone is interested for the purchased price. Pickup in Melb Bayside area. The delivery is expected to arrive this week.

    • Did yours get cancelled because mine did :/

  • Anyone got any updates from Bunnings. Haven't received any email on invoice or delivery

    • same, nothing

    • I received the email with postal tracking ID.

    • Yes both of my chairs shipped. One from Aus Post other from Toll

    • I received the chairs today

      • ?? without any emails from Bunnings? you still received?
        any consignment notices even?

        • Received my green chair this morning. Got the dispatch email from Bunnings marketplace around Monday lunchtime.

  • got the green chair via their ebay store. bunnings website has problems with paypal, so better check with them if you use paypal.

  • I emailed them asking why I haven't heard anything - they responded, saying it was a system error and there was no stock.
restock in August, or request for full refund were my options.

    • Didn't get a email. Had to chase them up with the same response. Though they mentioned no ETA on the restock.

The quality of the one I got is shocking, bolts are sticking out and armrests can't be assembled together
You get what you paid for I guessssssss

    • You do need to gently persuade the armrests to fit in the pre-drilled holes. Other than that I found the assembly not too bad.

Key is to barely tighten the screws until its all together.

    • +1

For the armrest I thought one of my bolts was too short - but eventually I managed to get a connection by pushing really hard. The footrest is another issue…

      • +1

I can see where you had issues, one side is offset more than the other. Try to feeding the screw in the other way (which would mean you mount/install the armrest on the other side of the chair). You should then see more thread hanging out which will make it easier to screw into the pre-drilled hole.

        • I am unable to assemble the armrests, will be writing them for return

  • Just got my footrest chair but I can't mount the footrest - the holes are out by around 1cm wtf

    The chair is pretty uncomfortable

Edit: The comfort did improve a little once I flipped the back plating the other way around. Really needs a headrest. Debateable whether it's older than my 10 year old $120 mesh chair but giving it a go at the moment

    • still got mine in the box, can I ask your thoughts after a month.

  • +2

I am missing part E of my new chair from bunnings. WTF

    • lol not surprising. I was given one set of incorrect size screws and missing lots of washers, and the footrest could not be attached due to misalignment of screw holes. Chair is pretty much fulfilled by third party who handle everything from there including returns and shipping - Bunnings nothing really to do with it.

I sold my chair on Facebook marketplace earlier today - used it for 10 minutes, not a fan. Not very comfortable, bad ergonomics. Got my money back and a bit extra. Will spend a bit more in the future.

      • I just assembled mine and also missing 4 screws for the leg rest. Good thing I have extra screws with the same size.

Edit: Just found out that I'm also missing the headrest

        • These ones don't come with headrest. That ones a different design (note the winged seat)

          • @cyrax83: Yeah you're right, got confused with the manual as there was extra step to put the headrest.

  • How do you tilt it?

  • I've already requested a return/refund and they are charging $22 for restocking fee. That is robbery.

  • On 24/7, ordered the better $79.95 chair linked earlier in this thread. Just got an email saying order cancelled as out of stock. Got offered the same chair in a different colour for $180.95. What a joke!

    • Yeah, I did the same and they came back with the same bs. a bit of a copout on their behalf, but got the refund. No loss, but once bitten.

I got the green one and have to say, for $63, the chair was worth it, look nice, doesn’t look cheap.
The assemble was easy, but i have to admit, need a fair bit of force to get the armrest in possition with the holes.

The armrest does have left and right, so you can’t fit the other way around. The packaging did write Left and Right but not on the manual.

After one got, i want to order another, went on ebay and saw one look the same for $58 plus $5 coupon bring down to $53.

To my suprise, they look the same but they’re not, i would say 90% same and 10% different.

The ebay one look like a knock off version. No branding on the chair vs Artiss.
The back metal plate that connect the back and bottom of the chair, the ebay version have the back plate screw on the back of the chair showing 4 screws, while the artiss version have it hidden behind the leather.

After sitting on both, both chair feel different.
Ebay: your back will be straight when sitting on this chair.
Artiss: you lean more back rather sitting up straight.

If i were to sit having a rest or drink a coffe, i would choose artiss.

If i were to do work on computer or paper work, i would use the ebay version.
