Full frame Nikon Z5 + Z 24-200mm F/4-6.3 Kit for $2008

Equal cheapest price ever according to Camel3

Most (non grey) stores are selling the body only for $1800, and the lens for around $1300. Eg Teds has the bundle for $3200. This is about the price for the body plus kit lens.

Amazon will have 2 year Nikon Australia Warranty.

Last post on Ozbargain (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/580898) was nearly $700 more

Very good entry level full frame camera, with a very good superzoom (for a superzoom).

Some downsides of the Nikon Z system include:
-No native 3rd party lenses yet, native lens selection not as comprehensive as Sony
-Tracking AF not quite as good as Sony / Canon
-Questions over Nikon's long term financial viability

  • Camera body down to $1572 as well

    • That's cheap too but the lens for $500 is a ripper bundle

    • The lowest priced seller at $1572 for the body is grey importer Becextech.
If anyone looking at buying just the body, with 20% off digiDIRECT, only $1399 with Aust warranty.

  • +1

Would love to get this but I only had the Z50 for over a year and am loving it. Gonna start building up the full frame glass before jumping onto the body.

    • Good idea…

after 20 years of D*** series just bought Z6ii

will be interesting to see how transition goes

      • I had a D800 and migrated to the Z7. For travelling its a revelation. However, for wedding photography (low light flash photography on moving subjects, a DSLR is better, as the IR grid from the flash doesn't work with mirrorless.

But no question that mirrorless is the way to go. I tried to offload good quality FX gear to some shops, and they had too much stock that no one is interested in.

        • 100% on the travelling. I think one of the best things Nikon did with the Z series other than slashing weight and size is maintain the ergonomics for the grip. I was considering switching over to Sony or Fuji but when I held those cameras the tiny grip just wasn't a joy to shoot.

  • Gone-that was quick. Now up to $2609

    • Amazon do this quite often (may be some sort of algorithm to attract interests/hits), put down the price really low on a product, when someone bought one, it automatically goes back up to normal…

  • Great price, will def buy it if the $350 cashback is still available

    • +1

Ended in May :-( But I'm sure cashbacks will come back again at some point

  • Back in stock for $2007 today. 5 in stock

    • Just in time for SB up-sized 5% cash back.

      • Amazon 4% cashback now

        • +1

5% with SB. 4% with CR.

          • @Buy2Much: correct, sorry I mistyped. I've editted the post
