I've never had this beer. Assuming it tastes like the price suggests?

Is this a new Tun beer? Looks like it's not on specials, this belongs in the forum's for discussions

Good price for students like myself. I might give Tun a shot, I usually get Hollandia, though sometimes when I want to spoil myself I'll buy Coopers, Guinness, or Heineken.

If you like lager beers like Tooheys new this one isn't bad for the price. Personally I don't mind this one particularly if it's really cold.

  • Amazing this can be sent all the way from Belgium for this price.

It's good for the price. but this is normal price. They whole range is drinkable for the price.

Normally buy from bws but last time I bought from Dan's a few months ago I think it was a little dearer than this.

This is just free advertising for Dan Murphys not a deal

Any idea how these compare to the Liquorland Hammer N Tongs?

Much prefer Tun red. I find hammer and tongs red a bit watery and flavourless when compared with tun red.

If you're ever in a BWS check the date on the TUNS. They rarely sell and most of the time expire.

If the BB is in the next month, ask the staff nicely if they'd discount it for you.
Most stores would rather sell it at a discount then have to deal with tip them out, so your chances would be fairly high with getting some discount.

Note: I haven't actually tried it as a customer, but our TUN basically always went out of date so we dropped the price for a month before

Bought a carton once. Disappointing taste, smaller 330ml cans, only 4% ABV. Not a good deal.
