  • Oh wow, I just bought hearts of iron for a lot more dollars. This is bargain, but how could I have known it would come….

    • When did you buy it and where from?

      • From steam about a week or a week and a half ago. Have not played it yet, will not have time until about November but if the older titles are anything to go by it should be amazing…

        • If you have not played it yet, you can refund it! Within 2 weeks of purchase.
Do that and then buy the bundle.

          • @Lysander: oh nice ill go check that! I may have loaded it once to check if it worked though… not even sure if i did that tbh

@Misha Bakunin: As long as you have less than 2 hours play time and it's within 14 days of purchase you can refund it. I've refunded some games months after purchasing without issue, so you should be fine as long as it's under 2 hours of playtime.

          • @Lysander: I did not realize but it has been around 2 and a half weeks… oh well..

If the game you want to buy is pretty popular and a few years old there is a good chance it will turn up in a humble bundle some day if it hasn't already.

This is a rule I follow to acquire many games for cheap.

There are lots of exceptions to the rule but if it hasn't turned up yet it is bound too.

I am personally hodling out for rimworld and factorio.

      • The guy who made rimworld has said he will never discount the game or put in a bundle. Let's see if he changes his mind.

        • Yeah I remember that.

Makes it even more juicy and unattainable for bargain finders.

          So desirable.

If I can nab it under $9 AUD I probably will.

For factorio I can honestly wait forever as I have watched so many videos around it I feel like I have already played it or at least seen everything it can do so it's just a possessive ownership thing now.

But rimworld oh man I want to have fun or other games like it.. Except ancient cultivation simulator.. Holy crap that game is a game.. I watched I forgot his names review sseentech or something.. Best half an hour of my life recently.

  • Absolute bargain. With over 500 hours sunk into this game, I can't recommend it enough.
Also this game has a ridiculous amount of mods available (Kaiserreich is my personal favourite).

500 hours and you might still be on your first game.

I could understand someone hating this game. Not me thought. It's a black hole of time but I freaking love it.

500 hours is rookie numbers. And I've been playing for 2 years. I love how despite knowing how to play, I'm still learning new things even after all this time. Endlessly replayable.

It's the year 2310 and I am still trying to be a communist Venezuela taking over the world. Why? I am not sure even I know at this point.
