  • This is what I'm playing through next once I finish sea of stars, really keen

    • Just finished sea of stars as well and haven't quite got into octopath yet, just not the same feel as sea of stars. Sea of stars is so good!

  • Amazing graphic design.

  • OT2 was one of the best games I had ever played.

When it comes to beating the super boss though. Just YouTube a stategy

    • No I really the enjoyed the part where you fight P1 for 1 hour then get floored in 4 turns in P2 having to do it all again. :)

      • Lol what got me is that if you built certain characters on your preference the battle was much harder. E.g I built Throne to be the arms master and powerhouse. But then for the strategy her double turn skill was better used in phase 2… I was like wtf… Made it much harder.
Still won but characters need to be in specific spots or else you can't win.
        It's a true super boss.
I just hastened the win, instead of trialling and error by watching vids.
But the music in that battle is my all time fav video game song..

  • Damn, Bought OT2 on switch for $33 last week. Should’ve waited.

  • -1

The first one was just $28.78 a couple weeks back on Green Man Gaming. It didn't record as an all-time low on comparison sites because for some reason, you had to be logged in to see that price. I ended up getting both for $62.76.

  • Hmm 60% off, I wonder if they will go lower, but then again this is Square Enix so maybe in 3 years they'll increase it to 70% as a one off, but who knows how long that will take.

    • That's why when I saw FFIX in the last Steam sale at 70% off, I went for it - it's gonna be too long just to expect the next jump to 75%, let alone lower.

  • Almost the same price on the Microsoft Store right now, and its Play Anywhere so you get both XBox and PC versions.

  • Very good jrpg that has an old school feel with modern QoL improvements. Deserves more attention.
