    I played around with it up to seat selection and FYI, in the ticket selection screen, you have to put in the code first, then there will be a "Freepal" option that appears above the "adults" line. If you want to buy 2 tickets, you put "1" in the "Freepal" option. If you put in "2", you're getting 4 tickets etc.

    Changing the address line with "optus" at the end stopped working for me (that is, the prices didn't decrease), anyone else have any luck with that?

      EDIT: Never mind…I was stupid and was booking a ticket on a Tuesday where the code isn't valid…

      True, I tried Optus trick today as well, it is not working anymore. If anyone happens to find any other loophole pls share. I'll keep looking! Optus one was a classic cheat!

    awesome! works a treat just enter the coupon and it adds another ticket options. choose 1 of them and then you can book two seats.

    Can't seem to get it to work the Freepal ticket keeps coming up as full price intead of zero, film was for a wednesday night and was not 3d,Vmax or NFT

    Event Cinemas must be very quiet as late, first the $7.50 tickets, then this one, now they are offering $20 Gold Class tickets for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Cinema chain seems to be going down a bit!

    But - like melmac77 - the freepal tix are at full price :-(

    In the booking procedure, it jumped straight from 'candy bar' to 'payment'.. and bypassed seat selection all together !

    @kristijan08: how did you get it to wor for you?

      One better than you :p I had selected one adult & one freepay it showed full price and told me to select 3 seats even though It had listed only 2 tickets ??? They will end up with an over booked cinema if they don't fix that quick smart

    Ok I've worked it out, it helps to read the OP properly :D
    You select 1 Freepal ticket it shows at full price then when you get to the seat selection it tells you to select 2 seats voila two tickets $9.80 each :)

    Okay, well I managed to break the T&C by using a gift card (you can select any payment option you want) and I used the offer post 5pm on Saturday night. No problems on either account. Maybe I'm just fortunate.

    Hey just successfully purchased 2 tickets for a 6:50pm session on Friday for Contraband (VmaX).

    I was under the impression before this that it would follow same rules as vouchers (5pm saturday) and in this case im right.
