Just bought some Wera tools I was eyeing on Amazon and looks like I *may (fingers crossed!) get the cashback in this 24 hour promo.

    I’ve never had an Amazon transaction not track (via SB), until recently. Last two didn’t. One was pet supplies 8% - had to submit a manual claim but rejected by merchant. SB apparently will continue to investigate. Other was toys - have only submitted a manual claim. No response so far. Ive now lost confidence of SB tracking

        yes I've read many members having this problem but I have always had nothing but positives with Shopback whereas with Cashrewards, mostly problems. I guess its the luck of the draw.

      Maybe I am the odd one out, all transactions but one via SB have tracked well, raised a ticket and SB quickly resolved and applied the credit manually for me and got the cashback confirmed within stipulated time frame.

      CashRewards, on the other hand, which I also had a transaction that didn't track, applied the credit after I raised a ticket but now the cashback is sitting there pending for a few months already. Raised a ticket again recently given we've gone over the time frame given only to be told there's nothing they could do and would have to wait for the other side (Azimo transfer) to confirm transactions. The cash back was about $55 so really anxious and losing confidence in CashRewards…

        I recommend cr, lower % but it's certain will track

      My recent purchases (pets products) did not tracked. open a dispute but was told ineligible.
      Used CR and my purchase was tracked immediately.

    I notice that within the listing for the deal on Shopback it lists the 5% off for physical music, but also states that shopback doesnt cover physical media. I assume the former overrules the latter?

    Multiple purchases at Amazon was not tracked at all. Had to dispute and was told ineligible. Will never use SB for anything at Amazon.

    Shopback conveniently never tracks when it has an upsized offer. For me was The Iconic a few times and Rebel Sport. YMMV.

    I would neg vote but I guess it's unfair to OP.

      I think it's important to share your experience. I haven't had a problem with SB, but truthfully the number of such issues is making me hesitate on offers.

      E.g.: If this same deal was CR, I'd be all over some pricier Lego sets I've been looking at. Being SB, I'm actually not going to risk the $. I think the negs are valid and important, and should send a message to any reps in the OB community.

        I've already submitted a review after waiting your mandated 10 days and received a reply from "Jasmine" that it was deemed ineligible but you'll still "appeal on my behalf". Yay thanks… Will DMing you change anything?

        Such a crock when I buy the same deal as other ozbargainers who report they get the confirmation within minutes and follow the instructions to a T. Perhaps there's a limited number that work since on that same deal someone else who ordered around my time also got nothing.

        Never had a problem with Cashrewards. Just my luck I guess but I know which one I'll use in the future.

    I bought $1000 worth of tooling (Knipex) from Amazon and they rejected my cashback as it was 'home improvement' not tools. Yeah righto.

      While I can't change the category rates set by Amazon, I can help make your life a little easier by sharing this trick to identify the product category before purchase.

      This doesn't work on mobile, unfortunately.
      But if you go to their desktop site you can find the product category in the top left corner as seen here.
      Once you know the category you can see what rate you will get on our site :)

      I know this doesn't resolve the rejected cashback, but hopefully it'll help identify product categories in the future to avoid 0% cashback.

    Same here, bought tools only today in two different orders and Cashback tracked with SB is $0. Never again with SB. Amount spent was $200+. Very poor experience.

      Least you got it tracked, I cancelled my tracked CR order to place with Sb on Thursday night and still haven't gotten anything. So over having the whole raise a case, get denied then sending over my screen shots etc.

    I know its not Amazon, but I'm getting rather jaded with Shopback when they offer upgraded cashbacks and dont provide the reward despite following all the rules.
    This is also part of the send $20 at 3 sellers, get $9.
    Looks like that failed too.

    Hate to add to what everyone else has said but unfortunately had issues with Shopback recently, bought during the Iconic Flash Sale two weeks ago but not tracked as I had the Chrome extension installed even though I clicked through the Shopback website, informed I was ineligible. Most of the other times they've tracked fine. Best of luck to everyone else!

    Shopback initially tacked all my Physical Music purchases made on 30 July at 5%, but has since rejected them all.

    "Your cashback has been rejected because the product(s) purchased was ineligible for cashback at time of purchase…"

    I've now had to go through and submit receipts for each.
