I personally always go to local soil supplier to buy a whole trailer of soil or mulch. I can use their trailer for free.

I am saying this, just to remind people to support local small businesses.

thanks I forgot to support local small businesses

    • Ditto. Sure it sometimes can cost a bit more, but I've been trying to support local when possible/when I've got the money spare.

      • do a cubic meter scoop cost more the buying in these bags?

        • Mine local soil supplier is cheaper than buying from Bunnings or supermarket

    • I hate soil imported from Mars!

Where are you possibly buying soil from that isn't "local"?

    • I don't have a tow trailer ball……

Not sure if still is but picked it up at Bunnings on Tuesday for $2.50 thought it was normal price. Not showing on Bunnings website. Acacia Ridge and Keperra had this price.

Can this be used in Winter ?

    • No, but can be used on roasts and smoked meats.

This is one of the worst mixes you can buy, if you want plants to thrive spend a bit more for better brands

    • What's wrong with it? What would you recommend?

      • For cheap Richgro at Bunnings is much better than this and costs less than 50c more. Scotts brand is the best available. It depends on what you grow.

  • these used to be 3 bucks flat the last time i got it pre-covid iirc so 50c increase?
