            • @snipercat: Apparently not as many as I first thought. The local jab centre has remained empty since it opened.

How much for delivery to the landfill?

    • BAHAHAHAHAH! SO TRUE>

    • Cost me $80 to throw out a couch, literally.

  • +5

    Product weight: 38.3kg

Seems pretty lightweight. Maybe handy somewhere but I'd think otherwise a bit alarming.

    • How much do 3 seaters normally weigh?

      • +13

Depends how many people are on them.

  • $99 doesn't seem promising, any thoughts here?

    • +19

Yeah if life taught me anything, is that you get what you paid for.

      • +1

99 bucks for 38kgs. Not getting much weight

        • Those skinny legs look like they will snap real quick if being used daily.

    • -3

Has Ikea ever had it cheaper?

  • If course this gets posted on the day I buy and pickup a new 3 seater that looks remarkably similar to this.. Only I paid $600 not $99.

Having said that, personally I need to try out a sofa before buying one.

  • +2

    $70 shipping. ummmm, no thanks.

  • +2

just bought the 2 seater version, $37 shipping, brings total to $106 delivered to nsw.

2 seater only safely made for One normal adult, but who thinks 2 adults both weighing under 100kgs total together is HEALTHY?

For a 50kg adult to be considered healthy, has to be under 162cms high and have a BMI of 19!

And I sure as hell know the average weight in Australia is no where near 50kg

  • That's a depressing looking sofa

  • Thanks bought one.

These are the sort of crap sofas you end up with in a lot of airbnbs, not a fan.

    • Airbnbs buy it though, just for photoshots

    • +8

No not a fan. A couch.

  • bought one thanks~!

  • Ordered, thanks,

  • +6

Perfect for burning a few holes in it while you smoke some cones.

  • +1

Looks like some cheap nasty trash. I once bought something that looked exactly like this from VidaXL. Sent it back as it was appalling quality.
Would suit recently de-registered doctor’s waiting room.

    • +1

LMAO. These would be too high-brow for our doc's surgery. My doctor advertises as a funky, chic environment. What they mean is the paintings by local artist are for sale, the wall of plants is plastic, and they filled the waiting areas with solid steel seats, an old church pew and op shop chairs. I had to stand and walk around while waiting to see about my sciatica. It's a disgrace. All the GP's there charge full fees, no bulk-billing even for pensioners in a building in a suburban ex-hardware store. It's like they never heard of ergonomics or thought maybe their patients might need something to sit in that doesn't cause pain. We went here because my doc of 25 years left town. It's hardly worth changing now that we have educated him on all our complex health issues.

      • +3

Is there only 1 doctors surgery in Mackay?

Sounds like your health issues will get a lot more complex if you don't change.

        • My doctor is fine. One of those little, fit cyclists who probably thinks a calf tear is as bad as injury caused by decades of heavy lifting, contact sport and being a huge fat bastard. He's a hard-ass in some ways, which is good because sometimes GP's get comfortable with you just being unhealthy and just keep filling out scripts. He doesn't mind lecturing me, which is good when you aren't a highly motivated patient. Just the surgery sucks. There are heaps of Docs in the surgery, one of them being the actual owner. I'm just appalled at what they think is appropriate for a waiting room. Along one wall outside one section of rooms they built a long box and put a thin cushion along it. Not very many people sit at exactly 90deg. Just really weird.

  • Shopping cost $120 in Sydney…. No thanks not worth it.

    • +3

      Shopping cost $120 in Sydney

Everything is more expensive in Sydney, even shopping lol

      • Lol … Shipping…. Too much reliance on auto typing..!

  • +1

those legs look like they would break after 3 months, or wiggle at least. probably not worth more than 100 tbh

  • 3 seater is out of stock. 2 seater is in stock but the $50 delivery price blows out the cost.

  • Didn't even know Kmart did sofas. Never seen them instore…not that I'd be buying one but still

    WTF 2 sofas

    Subtotal $58.00

    Regional delivery to postcode
    4220 Burleigh Heads

    Really regional?

    $217.82

    Total (incl. GST) $275.82

    • It was $30 delivery to Brisbane inner south suburbs for the two seater. Must mean anything outside of the capitals is regional

  • +3

Is this adequate for a "casting couch"?

    • Probably couldn’t handle BBW or BBC

    • Is that you Harvey?

  • +5

This is not a very $5 Big Mac + Cheeseburger friendly looking sofa.

  • I am sofa king, we Todd Ed.

    • +1

omg this is such an 80s gag, any new material? :)

  • furniture in Sydney is abysmal - overpriced crap.

  • Are you seriously complaining on delivery fee?

You need at least two guys and a truck and it's a large item taking volume in a truck's day run.

    • +1

      Box dimensions: 83cm (L) x 46cm (H) x 170cm (W)
      Product weight: 38.3kg

That's the 3 seater, so the biggest one. They're flat packed.
One person can offload that to the front door and it doesn't take up much room by the sounds of things.

The 2 seater is a 16kg box and they want over $90 to deliver it lol

I got a 130kg fridge delivered today. One guy managed it fine with a trolley. My 65" TV also got delivered by 1 guy…Sure they cost more but both of these were free delivery for much bulkier items.

Just received the Harrison 2 seater, was roughly $30 delivery for metro Brisbane. Visually it looks way nicer than it has any right to be at this pricepoint, and it comfortably fits two people. Back cushions are fine, but the base cushions are pretty awful. Due to it being so light it easily slides around on my wooden floor, definitely will need to replace the little hard plastic feet that come stuck to the legs.

  • Refunded mine. Both 2 and 3 seaters. Grrrr

  • Received the 3 seater. Of course not of great quality, but can’t complain either. The cushions seem to be comfortable too.

  • Has anyone tried out both the 'Harrison 2 Seater' and the '2 Seater Sofa' and can comment on which one is more comfortable to sit on?

The Harrison looks like it might have a more comfortable seat (thicker cushioning?), but it's difficult to tell with the fabric wrapped over the other one.
