Anyone have any tips on how to get the size 10s delivered? The website seems to only let you do click and collect for them. The 11s are deliverable, why not the 10s?

    • +3

Because the 11s are available from the warehouse, while the 10s are only at certain stores around the country.

    • +1

and size 10 seems only available in Brisbane (based on using each of the x000 postcodes as the centre and the max 200km distance allowed)

    • +1

I got a pair of the 10s shipped, but I got in pretty early, they may have just run out of online stock.

  • +1

OOS? All sizes greyed out for me. Or do you require login for location or something?

  • Damn missed out, been eyeing a pair for a while.

  • +7

Have been wanting a pair for years until I saw that roseanvil dude on YouTube cut one in half, and realized they're not very well made boots.

    • +5

You need to get the english made docs for quality footwear. I have owned a pair as well as the asian made boots and its clear which is the inferior product.

      • +1

Very true. Quality has dropped significantly recently and the lifespan of a pair is a fraction of what it used to be

        • +3

This is true. I still have a pair of black Dr Marten shoes, going on 12 years old and still kicking.
Boots lasted me around 7 years until I just wore them down so much they were unwearable.

Fast forward to 2021 - purchased a pair of Dr Marten boots in January. The middle of the shoe is cracked and split. Not even 8 months of use. They are all made in china. I couldn't find a UK made Dr Marten and I couldn't find an answer on the quality of the china produced ones - Well now I know. Complete waste of $250.

          • +1

@Noobist45: My English made docs only lasted 10 years. My fault entirely because of the lack of care in the final two years. I could probably still wear them actually.

          • @Noobist45: they do exist, (Made in the UK) though they are double the Chinese price, 460 odd bux as opposed to 220-240 ish.

saw some the other day in Melbourne central.

rose anvil is a good channel

    • Problem always used to be that the soles wore out super quick. Not sure that's changed.

    • Glad to see more Rose Anvil lovers on OzBargain.

    • Well, these are a good deal @ $59.99 at least. I've had really bad RM Williams before in the past, it's the luck of the draw, but luckily both have warranty/ guarantee.

      • What issues do you have with your RMs? They’ll generally replace them no questions asked if they have defects

    • You'll need to pay for the quality, these are not really cheap / ozbargain worthy but look at https://au.nps-solovair.com. They are the original manufacture of Dr Martens before Dr Martens outsourced to China and reduced the quality.

They have a number of boots the same style as Dr Martens built in the same factory Dr Martens used to be built, by the same people with the same tools that was used to produce Dr Martens so pretty much Dr Martens in everything but name and sole thread colour.

  • My cherry Docs are ~25 years old and still going just fine. Not wearing them daily, but still holding up well

  • I have a pair that i bought and didn't fit size 10 i think.

If anyone wants them that are in Brisbane - send me a pm .

    • Out of curiosity, do you find that they run big or small ?

      • Big - that was my problem - width is good thou as i have wide feet

  • it came in chinese.
