    the one with the lens kit is a tempting price. would have bought that if i havent already bought the zv-1 a few months ago.

    the one with the shooting grip not such a great deal as you can get the shooting grip cheaper elsewhere.

    • agreed, got the ZV-1 with the cashback offer they had

      • You just reminded me that Sony cashback due to be paid this month. Guestimate is around August 20.

        • If you meant factory cash back, keep an eye on it as Sony is very tardy with it. Customer service is totally useless, keep pointing at the Promotions Team, who didn't even respond to their own. So many attempts to contact both since November last year, my queries have been either brushed off or ignored, eventually no response from them. Look up Product Reviews (I have not posted yet), many people had the same issue not getting their cash backs.
          I never have cash back issue with other companies.

          • @Buy2Much: all good. wont be readying the torches and sharpening the pitchforks till the end of the month though if i dont see the moolah from Sony.

            • @xoom: i think i got my cashback ages ago

              purchased on 15 Jan 2021, pretty sure it took like 2 months to come back

              • @vanyellow: Bought my zv-1 June 20. Sony sent email that my cashback claim was accepted July 9. Email said 28 working days from the acceptance date.

  • looking at switching from canon as I'm moving from product photography to doing a bit of product video too and want a 2 camera setup (invest more in canon DSLR - don't think so!), will be looking hard to see if the a6400 comes down in price as a result.

    I'm leaning to the ZV because of the form factor and price, headphone plug will be nice too but there's not alot between them (don't really need the EVF of the a6400).

    also need to fund another 150w light (probably a second godox VL-150), which ain't cheap :{

  • How's this compare to the A6400 for video in particular?

  • Should I get white or black? Hmm…
