I have this on dell 27" and Samsung 28" no issue at all, I bought it for around $30(after the Amazon cashback)

    • Do you know whether it supports all dell monitors, I've bought the 27" dell monitor for sub $200 from the special last week and I don't really understand how mounting compatibility works

For reference this is the one I got:
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/324294459029

      Dell - S2721H

      • It can support up to 9kg so 27" monitor should be well below 9kg

  • Great price!
I have the dual arm version H180, holding xiaomi 34" and Samsung 27" with no problems.

Buy 2 of this even cheaper than H180, more flexibility.

    • H180 takes a bit more weight right?

      • Same, just dual arm

        • +1

Are you certain? I can't find anywhere that suggests the H80 supports anything above 27" nor >9kg?

          H80 specs:
Fits most 17" to 27" displays
Support load from 2-9 kg making it suitable for most monitors in his range.

          vs

          H180 specs:
Fits Two Screens of most 22" to 35" displays in various configurations and easy to position and align.
Support load from 2 kg to 12 kg Per Arm Including Clamp Mount and Grommet Mount options in the box.

          vs

          H160 specs:
Fits Two Screens of most 17" to 27" displays.
Support load from 2 kg to 9 kg Per Arm Including Clamp Mount and Grommet Mount

Might be looking in the wrong place; but happy to change my plans if the h80 does support 34" and > 9kg though.

          • @MorriJ:

Might be looking in the wrong place; but happy to change my plans if the h80 does support 34" and > 9kg though.

It does, don't worry about it.

          • @MorriJ: sorry my bad, i check the manual again, 12kg maximum for H180.you are right.
9kg is still enough for most 32" monitor?

I did buy H180 is preparing for upgrade to 38" in the future.

            • @Watanabe1995: Ahh thanks.

My 34s are 15.5kg (Alienware 34" curved) so a bit cautious with them - so weighty the curved panels for whatever reason. My Samsung 34" was 5kg lighter.

              • +1

@MorriJ: Are you sure that weight? That would make it heavier than the 38in Alienware with stand.

                • @MonkDog: Bad math on my part i think; lbs to kg - it's just shy of 12kg actually. thanks for pointing that out actually. It's 9kg without stand (i just weighed it - not a particularly accurate scale though)

gotta go to spec savers…. i thought this was a really cheap basketball backboard! smh

      Same

If this was used on a desk against a wall, how do you get the monitor as close to the wall as possible? Would the arm go sideways?

    • looks like u should be able to rotate it sideways.

    • +2

Hi @cyawala. To get the monitor as close to the wall as possible you'd have to fix the mount either on the desk off-centre to the monitor or on the end of desk and swing the monitor in. You are distance limited by the arm mounting point at the back of the monitor and the thickness of the monitor itself. As an example, the shortest distance from the wall to the front of my monitors (Dell 2721Q/2721DGF) with the arm/monitor mounting hard up against the wall is 15cm. Hope this helps.

      • Thanks. I gather you mean 15 cm mounted as normal, and that mounted off centre would be less distance.

        • Sorry, little bit difficult to explain.
There's 2 main parts to the mount, a pole that fixes to the desk and the arm that attaches to the pole at one end and the monitor on the other. For my desk setup to get the monitor as close to the wall as possible I have the pole section mounted to the desk slightly to the left of the monitor so the arm/monitor can swing back against the wall with minimal distance.
Regardless of pole/arm positioning, distance to the wall is restricted by the size of the knuckle/hinge section on the arm (which is the bit that will touch the wall) and the depth of your monitor.
For my Dell screens that gives me 15cm wall to front of screen.
Hope this helps and I haven't made it more confusing hehe.

          • @Fullbrewz: It is confusing, but once you bought one and try it then you will understand. Especially if your desk is against wall and you buy dual arm like me….

            • @CyberMurning: So if your desk is against a wall, it’s better to buy 2 single mounts?

  • +2

Hi @Azif, I'm using these with a Dell 2721Q and a Dell 2721DGF and find them to be functional and great value. My goal was to clear desktop space and gain a little height. Cheers

    • Thanks how hard is it to move monitor up and down. Wondering if the f100 gives a bit more flexibility if I have on a standing desk

      • +2

Once you're set up it's quite effortless to move the monitor up and down thanks to the spring arm. There's also a height adjustment that you make initially when you mount the arm on a support post, this is basically fixed tightly with a bolt and once you get it right you shouldn't need to adjust it again.

  • +2

I'm using two of these with a 34" Xiaomi and a 27" and they work quite well. I would probably go for the larger model for the Xiaomi but this one works great for the 27".

    • I got a 34" AOC but not sure which one I should grab this one or F100A (it costs like $63)?

      • +1

        I have the f80 on a 34" Dell monitor.
With cables + web I believe it's at the weight limit because it tends to bend forward a bit.
I'll be buying the F100 and using the F80 on my 27" - which was absolutely fine.

        • Thank you. I will wait for them to discount the H100.

    • Does it work well for you? I bought it and now it's collecting dust because it allowed my 34" xiaomi to rotate sideways but I couldn't move it up and down (inclined down, seemingly unable to support the weight).

  • Which is the best for aoc 27 curved?

  • +1

What is the max monitor size based on (as opposed to weight)? Ability to rotate?

    • Very curious about this too, finding an arm for my 34 inch ultrawide is confusing

      • I used this one for Xaiomi 34", find it is ok to hold its weight but it is pushing

  • Any recommend for single 32”? This one suitable for up to 27”, right?

  • Anybody found a monitor arm that works with Samsung UR55 4k monitor? That one is particularly nasty as it has a recessed vesa mounting hole.

    • +1

I am using a 28" Samsung ur55 4k, on my NB H180, no problems.the screw is long enough to fits it

    • +1

I used this on UR55, no issue at all, support it comfortably

    • +1

I have this setup. The H80 works fine with UR55 even though the mounting plate doesn’t fit flush with the curved (stupid shape) recess. The monitor arm is really good value for the price. I’m pretty happy with it.

  • Would this fit on a mounted desk where I have a hole drilled in the desk, about 100mm off the wall it's wounted up against? Looks like it kicks back too far and wouldn't fit my set up.

it should it does have the thru hole kit.

      • By thru hole, you mean it can be fixed to a hole in a desk? That's fine, but my desk is a fixed desk up against a wall, and the hole in the desk is just 10cm from the wall it's up against. This monitor looks like it angles back at least 20cm. I don't speak the language of the dude in that video so couldn't work out if he mentioned that there's a work around to my problem here.

  • Got my 24'' side monitor setup vertically with this mount, there's a little wobble when I type so I wouldn't suggest this monitor stand for your primary screen.

    • +1

I have 2 x H80s with 2 x 27” monitors — one horizontal & one vertical — and have never noticed any wobble. Do you need to tighten the various screws perhaps?

  • what's the difference between this and the F100A?

    • +1

This one have a pole so can get higher.

      I have F80 can't do high enough.

  • I'm assuming there is no way to use this with a deck that is attached to a wall, is there?

    • this with a deck that is attached to a wall

Attach it to the side of the desk?

      • Unfortunately can't because that is attached to wall… Uni accommodation :/

        • Oh, not even left and right sides and no hole on the desk?

    • Attached to the wall or pushed up against the wall?

      • Attached with some sort of silicone. desk has no legs and is fully supported by walls..

  • +1

When I was scrolling, I thought this was for a basketball backboard…

  • Does this go high enough to use as a stacking mount for the top monitor?

  • Sweet just got one. Pretty sure the H80 was the one to get for my Dell U2711 and not the F80…

  • I hope it works on LG 27 inch widescreen.

  • Do anyone know what the max clamp size? my table is 11.5cm thickness

    • Check the one before last picture

  • The price is coming up as $42.96. Did Amazon jack up the price??

  • Has the discounts finished / expired?

  • +1

Dang looks like I must have just missed out. Price is back up to $42.96.

  • Is there any mount which can move backwards to allow more gap between yourself and monitor in narrow width desk?

    • between yourself and monitor in narrow width desk?

I think they are all OK just to make sure your desk is heavy enough to balance it.

  • how wide is the mount arm from the desk at the back?
