I think is a tip more in line with “if you have less than enough balance to withdraw or don’t want to wait for the transfer processing time, you can use it to buy gift cards”.
Any way of using XBox Gift Cards to purchase Netflix/Disney+ subscription, either monthly or yearly?
Can't seem to find the 10% cash back, all it says for me is 5.5% cash back.
Search for Xbox under gift cards in the app, they are 10% cashback.

Update: turns out you can! Stack it with in-game discounts of up to 35% extra V-bucks depending on the amount you purchase.
