65" TV Recommendations (Budget: $1800)

Hey all,

Looking at buy a new TV for my lounge room and potentially a bedroom (will probs get 55inch for the bedroom). Looking for some suggestions/recommendations. Not particular fussy with what tech it's using so long as the picture is relatively clear. Budget is around $1800. Just looking for a good all rounders.

Currently looking at:

• Hisense U7G
• Samsung AU8000

  With prices continuing to head south the choices are endless. Test with eyes and bring partner. My personal choice would be true oled but I have to admit I have not gone past a Hisense. It has a reasonable picture and the value for money is ok. Test the remote as well if you power concious the start-up time.
