    pretty good deal

/checks desk drawer before clicking 'Buy Now"… 3x 128GB already there…close window and walk away.

    • +7

Well I did the same thing but sadly in the wrong order. Bought 2 before checking the drawer. Will have 4 now in case 3 of them break I guess.

  • +8

Good price but I wouldn't buy this drive, I had 50% failure rate on them, bought 4 and 2 failed, if you check online many others say the same thing.

    • +1

Were they under warranty and if so how was the RMA process?

      • +2

They were I guess, didn't have time to go through warranty as they were 3 for $19 something like that, one of the three failed pretty much instantly or within couple of days and another one bought separately that failed later on

      • Have had many failures, and a combination of issues with RMA.

First few failures were uSD cards (Extreme Pro) i had misplaced receipts, my bad.
The last failures i had were both uSD cards and this exact make / model USB flash drive.
The later failures were lower $ value and I just dismissed them and blacklisted Sandisk Products from my home and business.

No RMA process can make up for the shear percentages of failed devices I had from them.

Back when I was using Sandisk Compact Flash products they were kings of the industry, now i don't want to know them.

        This was my experience, YMMV.

    • Yep. Mine stopped working even after format.

    • Same experience with this particular model and also their Extreme SD cards, far too many failures.

I've got so many I'm hanging my underwear up with them.

    • +4

This says more about your undie collection. If I hang a pair of mine I'd have none to put on.

The design on these are a real pain in the arse. You have to hold the slider down with your thumb every time you insert it into a USB port. Makes it really tricky getting this drive into a USB port that's in a tight spot.

    • +2

Try working your pinky in there also.

    • Yes but have you tried pushing from the base? It slides inwards to make things easier.

  • I like i'm sure many do have a few of these. Never had an issue. Probably wouldn't use them to store a single source of information but great bang for buck for general use

  • I have one of these. Transfer speed is very good.

    • +4

      'very good'… relative to WHAT?

5G modem? flightless carrier pigeon with depression?

    • I always look for USB 3.1 speed now in my memory sticks if I'm transferring large files - makes a huge difference for me

    • +1

Very good? Writing speed is the worst I know. Anyway, mine is dead.

      • +1

So your one has a speed of zero.

        • Have you seen a dead man walking?

  • +1

this or Lexar 64GB M35 JumpDrive USB 3.0 Flash Drive?

  • +1

I just bought one before I even realise what it is

  • +2

    Showing as $12 for me.

    • Same

      • $10 deal/stock all gone.. next seller now @ 12.99

        • +5

          Forget it - what am I - a billionaire!

  • Missed.

  • +1

    The 128gb is $20.99

  • I'd rather pay double the money, for 1/4 th espace but a fast, reliable model.
(I want to offload some work to a USB stick and finding a cheapish but reliable and fast one is hard, and not too big - 32 at most, if not 16)

Not to say this one is bad, it's just I want a particularly /good/ one.

  • Seems like the USB3 flash drives advertised on OzB of late are either slow or fragile

    • so are the members
