This TV may be better for some in particular circumstances (ie superbright room with lots of daytime viewing)
Price is similar to OLED so do your research (esp if you need multiple HDMI 2.1 inputs)
Much better HDR , DYOR, lots of OLED fanbois on ozbargain.
Yeah I mean OLED is cool and all but sheesh. I guess when people fork out so much they have to confirmation bias the purchase with various hyperbole.
I have both but the LG oled is just too dark and struggles with brightness. Get the QLed

Mind that the rtings reviews are for the 55" VA panel version and there are some reports around saying that the 50" in Australia is a IPS panel due to stock issues, and this panel has a contrast level nowhere close to the VA panel. I would research this further before jumping into this one.
so bloody annoying they don't do smaller panels with the same quality as the larger ones. I don't need a 55"+ in my office.
I've been in contact with Samsung support this morning & they can't give me this information on whether it's a VA or IPS Panel…
Told them if I'm not happy when it arrives then I will be returning it.Did you get the TV? Was it VA panel? Did you keep it?

As gamernation said above. Not a deal if it’s IPS panel or other trade offs that often come with 50” models. Don’t go off the rtings review for this one
50 inch QN90A is VA Panel, 55 to 75 QN90A are all ADS (type of IPS) however with miniLED and high brightness levels, is indistinguishable from VA 99% of the time.

Does Samsung periodically do a 20-25% discount and cycle through the sizes maybe? I see at the moment the 75" is 25% (out of stock). Not sure if they email out advance notice of these sales though?
