Good size but it's a regular LED LCD VA panel. It's not really what you want to be getting in nearly 2026 now.

    • Could you please advise that Which model has good panel in TCL? Thanks

You want C7K or C8K if you can afford it

    • I got the same size c755 for 1k more with free installation and delivery.

      • For clarity is "install" just take out of the box and take the box away or wall mount it?

        • +1

Wall mount it to the wall with two handyman.

Surely at this size you just set up a projector instead?

    • +1

      why?

      • Maybe just my positive experience with projectors, but this is such a large/dominant thing to have hanging on a wall or sitting on furniture. With a projector and a pull away screen you can have a lot more flexibility over room layout and also image size. I'll concede they're not necessarily the best thing in a bright room but still passable.

Alot of us jumped on the 98" C755 deal last year for 3500 installed. I have it wall mounted and its absolutely stunning. TBH it looks small and waiting on 115" deal

@stopthecap: thanks for the pic man - it really helps to show the relative size and that it is a completely viable option - i love the idea of the large immersive screen

            • @debo: You won’t regret it: I have the same model and the kids are watching it everyday and leaving my 55 inch oled to the dust since

Can see a few HN TVs posted here with the EXTRA20 discount code.

Is there a complete list of all TVs with this discount?

  • I hope you OWN the home your paying off to house this beast! IMO over 75" Id say BUY A PROJECTOR

    • +2

Projectors don't produce a sharp and crisp image like these TVs.

This is not true anymore. Check out Hisense PX3 which I decided to buy this year instead of a TCL. Yes, you wont get the quality of a screen, but you'll get a 120" image that's pretty darn close with some flat white paint on the wall. Less eye strain from watching a projector also.

    • theres more that goes with a projector setup which might not be worth it / feasible.

    • +4

I owned a 110 inch projector and the PITA downsides of pure darkness to get decent picture quality is bad. Plus if you want a screen in the living room with bright windows a projector isn’t going to work at all.

  • Bigger….? Yes. Even back in the old rear projector days thats a good sized display.

Better….???? Hmmmmm having my eyes on a C8K myself I dunno if I'd be keen - so just make sure you have the whole distance you're sitting back ratio vs screen size correct.

I have a 4K projector, that yes, needs a dark room, and no isn't as bright as an OLED/QLED screen but it is a 150" screen that really makes movie night a special occaision. I do drool over big OLED TVs, but the screen is retractable and comes down in front of some bookshelves, so doesn't dominate the room when not in use. Definitely biding my time while 116" come down in price.

  • Did Gerry pay that COVID money back? (Asking for a friend.)
