  • Is it dual rank? Any chance to get it to 4000mhz?

I don't think this is that tweakable.. at least as per guru3d. Excellent choice for ryzen users who wants to just activate xmp and get fast ram.

The one I received last week (I should have waited) was dual rank, confirmed on CPU-Z SPD tab.

You are lucky as. Crucial has switched to single rank for a lot of it's SKU's. its a lottery at this point.

        • I saw that on the Amazon reviews when I bought it, but decided to pull the trigger anyway and expect single rank.

It was definitely a nice surprise :)

waiting for the RGB version TT

    • Is there a deal likely coming for this or more just hoping?

      • Unlikely for a deal on the RGB version, though possible.

It's faster cheaper and easier to see

Yeah my bad, it was C19. Overlooked that. And i also overlooked the price!

        Bought the Ballistix

  • Question is, did you even look at all?

  • Bit of a niche question…..looking to improve 1% lows at 4K. RTX 3080, 5800X. Current ram is 3200 CL22 (no xmp and any signigicant OC is unstable). The one upside is that it's dual rank and I've noticed that the latency is decent at 65ish nanoseconds.

The RAM in this deal, would it help with frametimes at all? Looking at reducing stuttering when playing 4K 60fps on my TV that doesn't have VRR. My current game setting are maxed out for most games, but I wouldn't mind tweaking things a bit in Cyberpunk. Getting rid of some dropped frames in other 4K titles would be good too.
