They also have a 5 in one model which can be bought for $39, this seemed like better value IMO. Unless you really need 4K@60 for some reason, only the 5in1 seems to have it.

I would be interested to know if the 5-in-1 can definitely output 4k@60Hz, could anybody confirm this? Would this work on any USB-C port, or does it need to be Thunderport?
I've got the Dell S3221QS monitor and I'm after a USB-C hub that can output video at 4k@60Hz and charge the laptop (Surface Book 2 and Lenovo Thinkpad T490s).

Fyi. You'll need a separate power charger to plug into the USB hub in order to provide power delivery to the laptop.

I've seen a few around but haven't personally used them.

Yeah, I had 2 from Amazon that died in the first month. Luckily returns are super easy from Amazon.

would this work with Surface Pro 7?

It def should. Don't see a reason why it shouldn't.

do you need displaylink software for the hdmi 4k output?

Are these any good? (Particularly the 5 in 1)
I need a Hdmi usb hub with PD 4k@60hz
