  • IGA will also have $2.50/blocks next week I believe.

Also I believe this will be the last time this year theyll be 1/2 price so stock up íf you want

    • How do you know there will be no more half price specials?

    • Yes, also curious to know how you know there will be no more 1/2 price?

    • why the last time??

      • +1

It won't be. He made it up.

        • what an ahole move, he must have cadbury stocks

  • +2

IGA doesn't have the special block where you can claim $5 back. Only Woolies have those blocks!

    • Special $5 block :o ?

    • wait how do you claim $5 back?
Also it is for every block and is there a limit per claim?

      • Do a search "Cadbury Free Block". It was posted before but taken down soon after. Maybe that OP wants to keep it away from OZB due to the redemption limit. It was added to OP.

  • From 250g to 200g to 220g to 200g to 180g.

    • Wait they went from 200g back to 220g and then back to 200g… no way!

      • +2

Yep when customers were up in arms about it. Then sneakily went back down.

        • +2

Its so weird because its still "a glass and a half of milk per 200g" but its not even 200g anymore.

          • @ATangk: That's a good point. Then again it could be partially lite milk with more water than milk. More sugar… Heck in the east so long the liquid is white it's considered milk (prob is it killed babies)..

            • +1

@id: Have they changed the wording? It used to be:

"A glass and a half of FULL CREAM Dairy Milk"

              • @pjm: The spoken phrase was a glass and a half, but the packaging does say full cream milk.

            • @id: In the west, any opaque white liquid is milk. e.g. almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, coconut milk, rice milk, etc.

    • The 200g to 220g transition was known as the "10% more joy" phase. despite them having 20% less joy to begin with.

    • my block I bought today is 173g

I tried Whittakers for the first time last week and was amazed how superior it was to Cadbury

    • Where is Whittaker's from? I had some chocolate for Aldi the other week after seeing a deal here, and was very nice too!

      • +1

        It’s from New Zealand :)

Missed out, I think it was on special for $4.30 last week. I still have a bit left 😋

+1 for taste. Their coconut block is amaze balls. They also often have the $2 mini block on sale for $1 - high recommend it.

Whittakers Dark Ghana - so dry, sooooo good.

Same here. I was so impressed with Whittaker's….I have jumped ship from Cadbury's to Whittaker's now….way way better tasting to my palette. I actually really enjoyed the coconut version…..its surprisingly good….not too coconuty but there's a crackle and pop when you go through the bar….its awesome.surprisingly food
