      Keep in mind it's a really big watch. I don't think I'd get this for a kid.

      If it's for an 8 year old, I'd just go for the old F91W. Cost you $15 and will be easier for your kid to actually tell the time compared to the Gulfmaster.

    I'm not a fan of the Gulfmaster series but that's a good price.

    I personally have a Rangeman that I wear if I'm going out camping or playing sport of some sort. Been a solid time piece for me, really happy with it.
