Increased bonus on this card, I think previously it was 25k or 30k MR points on signup. New card members only.

  Thanks OP. Does anyone know if DJ Membership Reward points are identical to Amex MR? When
  I last had this card 3 years ago, they had annoyingly different conversion rates for some redemptions. I’m looking at this card as a cheap way to boost my Bonvoy stash.

    Yes, mate identical to Amex MR, you basically earn Amex MR points
    I'm looking to apply to this card exactly for the same reason- 50k MR would get you roughly 33k Bonvoy pts…

    you can redeem 50k DJ Amex points for $250. It used to be much better a few years ago

  Amex is good… DJ amex is Rubbish…
  They cancelled my membership because I haven't use it for more than a year….. and also charge me next annual fee which I already paid… Lost all the points from previous 3 years using it and they refused to reinstate. Didn't have the time to chase up…

    that's terrible that they didnt even send you any notice. i would definitively chase them up. they made me cancel my no annual fee store card that i wasn't using a few years ago in order to approve a business card application.

  yes i guess you could flog the 100k velocity points for $1000. however citibank can be a bit difficult to get approved for as opposed to amex if you already have a card with them or reached your 2 or 3 amex card issued limit a DJ card should be easier to be approved imo.

    Last time I applied with citi I got rejected and I think it was because it was the same card offered through Qantas.
    However this time around it took a few days with one payslip. Very smooth process compared to the messy one with ANZ.

  Applied this morning, used a referral link as its giving the same bonus point (50K MR), so some OZB would get benefitted provided my application gets approved.

  Are the terms different for the other amex cards wherein you can't apply within 18months of holding any other Amex-issued card? It says must not have held David Jones credit card specifically for this one.

  Amex DJ and all other Amex are independent products. If you currently hold Amex DJ you would get signup bonus on other Amex cards (assuming you haven’t held any other Amex for past 18m) similarly if you currently have an Amex product ex DJ and you apply for Amex DJ you would be eligible for a signup bonus again assuming you haven’t held a DJ Amex for past 18months..

      Nope. You get 50k points regardless of whether you use a referral code or not, but if you do use the referral code it would help an OZBr or your friend/fam get some additional points.
