Why are they so cruel!? Just bring them back perm!

      • I KNOW!!
When i saw them i thought i was dreaming!

    • Wait…. 5 boxes? Or is a case more?

      • Case = Box
i am a pop vinyl collector and a "case" is a box of 6 so a "box" is what i mean when i say Case

Has anyone seen Toobs in store yet??

    • every store i spoke to said i was a week or 2 late they received their first lot and sold out within a couple of hours.

i've seen a a few places with the small 35g bags selling between $2-$3

some nob was selling on marketplace for $35 per 150g bag,. the comments there were hilarious.

    • I saw them and pretty much ignored them.
It was probably 10 days ago and they were on a display at the end of an aisle, don’t recall seeing them when I went back yesterday.

      • At my local Woollies (in WA) there were heaps on the weekend

    • i got 2 bags 2 weeks ago

      ordered 5 for tomorrow
      hope the come

    • I havent seen Toobs in my local Woolworths. Been looking since they were first announced to come instore.

These were good but nothing compared to the Chicken Drumstick Shapes. It was a travesty when they were discontinued :'(
There is a petition to bring them back in NZ - https://www.change.org/p/arnott-s-bring-back-arnott-s-chicke…

I went to 4 different woolies stores and finally found some. Hopefully if they are popular enough Mondelez keep producing them.

    • My local were pretty stocked (looked like not much interest)

If anyone is after these, Brickworks Woolworths in Burwood has shelves of them.

  • Are these any good? I don't recall the texture of the biscuit as being very nice.

Are these still made in China?

    • No, Australia

  • The Natural biscuit company ones are much better.

    • I found them close-ish, but not the OG

I thought so too.. had the Cheedar ones..

Then i tried the other flavours…. and they lost me

The burger flavour is interesting, but probably not if you take the pickle of yr burger at Maccas.
The taco one isn’t that good, very lime.

  • Can you still buy Bubble -o-Bills?

    • +2

Yep you can.. but the bubble gum is rubbish now. Disintegrates in like 20 secs

      • That is sad news :(

  • expiry 4/2022 :)

my fave from this brand were crispy bacon in a biskit…. any news on their return?

    • Not that I have seen

Can anyone think of a reason these would be brought back for a limited time with no long term plans? Seems like a waste of resources getting the factory up and running for 2 months.
(Praying that the fact they are sold out now will convince them to bring them back permanently)

Perhaps it is a test for sales. If sales are good, they will continue

Tasting update. Drumsticks is exactly as I recall. Chicken in a biskit tasted a little burnt, maybe as it is oven baked vs the original way (deep fried?)

  • Tbh didn't even notice they were gone.

    • Blasphermy! :P
