  • Wow that is so cheap! $20 cheaper compared to anywhere else. Glad Chemist Warehouse is now stocking it. I bought a bottle earlier this year for $60 and it's an exact clone of SMW including quality. Great for summer

  • How does this compare to the Terre d'hermes? They're both citrus based

    • Doubt it is even close. Terre D'hermes used to be able to get a 50ml bottle at Chemist Warehouse for under $60. Price has gone up a lot since then so haven't bothered to get another bottle.

  • Hope it is better than CDNIM.. that is god awful and one of my most regretful blind purchases.

How long have you had CDNIM?

When I first purchased it, the initial spray was horrendous, synthetic lemon toilet spray.

I left the cap open and put it in at the back of the closet. After 2-3 weeks, I tried it again and the initial opening seemed less harsh. I actually now enjoy it. Maybe I got nose blind?? (no-covid!)

My best blind buy from chemist was Mercedes Benz Club Black, cause I like vanilla/ambery scent. $40 for 100ml.

Over a year. I have a decant of Aventus, faaaar superior scent but I still think it is very overrated. The CDNIM is a cloying, synthetic horror and no one liked it.

        • same for me, I own a bottle. I would say CDNIM is very similar to Aventus. and although similar, CDNIM it is just lacking that magic touch. maybe the EDP may be different, but wont be buying the EDT anymore.

    • Agreed, I hated that but really enjoy Montblanc Explorer as I find it to be a smoother clone of Aventus.

      • +1

IMO Explorer smells nothing like Aventus after the first minute. I sprayed my actual Aventus on one wrist and Explorer on the other, and outside the initial drydown Explorer smells mostly of harsh solvent compared to the Aventus.

Was waiting for Sillage to get here… didn't want to pay 90+ bucks to get one off ebay.

  • hope it is good. added to cart, had a few clicks around at other fragrances i want. next minute $430 order :| :| :|

  • Got it. Got 4 other armaf already and was only missing this one

  • Cant wait to test. Hope its a beast like CDNIM

  • great price, bought 1 a month back for $66

    • how the experience so far

      • really good fragrance in my opinion, and also long lasting.. can't go wrong for this price..

  • The made in Dubai is said to be better then the made in France…

  • Brought one, thanks.

  • Picked mine up and it's produced on 05/21 and Made in France.

  • The CDN Intense Man is also selling for the same price at chemist warehouse. Maybe be worth looking at it.

  • I trusted the reviews and just bought it.. it's definitely not appealing in my opinion. Bottle is nice though, but the scent is odd.

    Thanks, OP. Bought it today.

I’m somewhat of a Creed stan. Love Aventus, and whilst Armaf’s rendition smells similar, it’s much more “harsh” and “chemically” than the legit stuff. It’s close enough for you to know exactly what it’s trying to be, but I emphasise the trying.

This is on a different level, IMO. It’s a much closer rendition of it’s target fragrance (silver mountain water). I suppose part of it is due to being an EDP whilst the Aventus clone is EDT. But it’s also just plain more accurate. They’ve done a great job.

Ordered blind the CDNIM and was impressed for the money. Ordered this too. Thanks op.

I have an authentic silver mountain water but I’m way too tight to use it on anything but super special occasions. Will be good to compare.

First impression, yes definitely what I remember silver mountains water to be! <$35 no bloody brainer.
