        • Could be a temporary thing mate. Please try a different browser as I can open it at my end in different browsers

  • How safe is it to use a 100W USB-C port for a mobile phone? Samsung S10+ for example

    • +1

The charger has a dynamic detect feature. It will detect the device output and only supply the required power. So completely safe with this charger

      • Do you also have the dimensions for the 156W? Wondering how much bigger it is compared to 66W so I can decide.

        • +1

          113x80x28.5mm against 53x53x30.5mm 66WGaN
It is a 4 port desktop charger mate so bigger than the 66W.

Its is $67.32 + 10% GST which is $74. We could offer the same price if were selling from China and had no SAA certification and did not have to pay 15% import charges and shipping costs. Price difference if $17 and you get a SAA product certified locally backed by 2 years warranty. Imagine your charger stops working within those 2 years, you will be paying another $40-50 to send it back to China for warranty claim.

        I appreciate this reasoning.

    • Plus cash rewards/ shopback. Negging as products are rebadged stuff that's cheaper elsewhere.

      • Ofcourse you will neg every deal I post :) But please provide full information. Cheaper available in China with no SAA certification and warranty in China

        • First time I have negged one of your posts.

By the way, it's feeling like spam. Same power banks for the same price you posted 9 days ago.

          • @iamherenow: But it was expected after your comments in our previous posts :) Honestly if we were a Chinese company we could offer those prices. But there are costs for making a product SAA certified and making them available locally. By the way, we have received messages from a few who missed the last deal so we post it again. It is also an awareness that there are top quality products available from a local company at a competitive rate when compare to Chinese and US brands like Romoss, Charmast, Blitzwolf, Anker, etc. Its your choice whether you support foreign brands or local brands.

            • @ibelievesyd: "Its your choice whether you support foreign brands or local brands."

No buying from you we choose if we support foreign brands, or foreign brands. Yours is a foreign product. You buy from China, just like we can. You are the middleman taking an extra cut after increasing the price.

              • @iamherenow: Ok then from the same perspective, if you buy from Belkin, Cygnett, Alogic, Zendure, Blitzwolf, Romoss, Charmast you are still buying from China. You are happy with them as the middle man and are paying more than extra cut to them.

                • @ibelievesyd: They produce the products they sell. They don't take someone else's product and slap a logo on it. Sorry, you don't even do that, the Alibaba seller does it for you…

                  • @iamherenow: That is your misconception mate. None of them "produce". They are all made in China. And slapping logo is what they all do. They just have more funds and wider audience to buy loyalty from factories in China. Don't agree? Check the 68W and 100W GaN chargers of Alogic, Belkin and Amazon basics. You will find all Cygnett power banks on Global Sources.

                    • @ibelievesyd: I've used many Blitzwolf, Anker & Romoss products in my life. They are by far the brands I trust the most.

I can tell you as a fact not all 'slap on a brand' is made the same, even coming from the same factory.

                    • -3

@ibelievesyd: Apple is made in china. They just slap the logo on for them?

              • +3

@iamherenow: Essentially your supporting both foreign and a local brand buying from this seller.

Two options as I see it…

                1) Buy direct from the overseas supplier (cut out the middle man, save a few dollars ($17), support a purely overseas entity, and risk any warranty issues).
                2) Buy from an Australian supplier (pay the middle man - who pays AU taxes, etc. He then supports the overseas supplier, and for extra $ he provides an Australian supported warranty).

Unless your buying 100% Australian, I would hazzard a guess that most transactions people make in this day and age are supporting both a local business or arm of a conglomerate that is supporting both AU and overseas businesses.

                • +1

@busterau: AU taxes for now but also AU jobs as well as we grow :) The support from the community has been amazing!
