      4K discs run better than 4K streaming. I don’t watch much streaming and usually watch movies that I didn’t get to see in the cinema.

        I second this.
        The bitrate and quality is noticeably better on a 4k disc vs a 4k stream.

        Not to mention the fact that 4k streaming isn't an option for many titles e.g. lord of the rings, matrix trilogy and many other major titles are only available as 1080p stream.

        I only buy 4k discs of movies I love and intend to watch again more than once.

          @Tamagotchi Breeder: After some research, it looks like the numbers really back up this claim with many 4K Blu-Ray movies now using 100GB triple layer discs and video quality running around the 100 megabit per second mark, while most streaming services use 25mbps. You could spend $99 on the Lord of the Rings trilogy in 4K ($70 when on special).

          And there lies the problem, the cost is just too much, sure, it's undoubtedly better quality, but unless I'm planning on watching a single movie multiple times every year, my eyes are very much satisfied with my 75 inch TV playing back either 1080p or 4K, the difference isn't very noticeable because I'm sitting about 3.5m from my TV, 720p is unbearable though, lol

  Got excited thinking this was B1G1F for every movie but it is just a B2G1F deal. This deal is a common theme for JB and doesn't necessarily mean their prices are any good.
